i think as a chemist, we must love every aspect about chemistry,
even we have a focus. because chemistry is one, no one can think
chemistry as a perfectly separated subject but overlapped.
but if so, mine is inorganic, or maybe physics. They're
beautiful! :D

very true...quite often we understand some aspects of chemistry
more than another, then we might tend to express preference.
For instance, I tend to prefer chemistry when directly
applicable in my field. I do not know much about quantum theory
or what goes on inside an atom, etc...but aspects like analysing
the pH of the reservoir fluid, measurement of conductance,
testing for ions in rock samples, or in catalytic cracking of
hydrocarbons i tend to 'prefer' simply because i find them
readily practical :D
