First of all, I want to thank Michael for opening this board.
Now, I opened this topic, so whoever wants can share the
pictures he likes of celestial objects like nebulae, galaxies,
clusters etc (no imaginary objects). I will start with mine

Whenever I think about space, always Eta carinae comes to my
mind :-) I love massive stars. Eta carinae is one among the very
massive stars in our Milky way galaxy. It is estimated to be
around 150 solar masses and 7500 light years away from the sun.
Scientists predicted that it would go hypernova any time, may be
in a few thousand years from now. Surely, it will be one of the
incredible happenings in our own galaxy. Most probably it will
vanish the life on earth if living things will be still around
on that time. Let's see if we can escape from 2126 threat first.
The periodic comet 109/p Swift tuttle will pass very closely to
our earth and moon and most possibly, it will hit either moon or
earth. If not, it will fill up your sky even at the day time and
it will be a spectacular show. Big perseids meteor shower?
hhhmmm, time will tell!
