       Preparation of CuCl

       For this post,i'm considering an alternative method.
       standard method:
       CuCl2+SO2+H20--->CuCl+h2SO4
       Reaction unbalanced.
       have you tried electrolysis of aq NaCl using low voltage& Cu
       electrodes? also works
