       Spectrum question

       hello everyone ! i am new here
       i have a question " does  the spectrum take place when we
       convert solid to liquid " if no then why ???

       I don't think so.
       According to Bohr's theory, the emmision of light from an atom
       occurs when an electron in a higher energy level goes down to a
       lower energy level. An electron can be excited to a higher
       energy level due to collission between atoms with large kinetic
       energes. When two atoms collide, Kinetic energy could be
       transferred from one electron to the other. The electron that
       recieves the KE then becomes excited to a higher energy level.
       This is unlikely in the liquid state because the atoms do not
       have sufficient KE to cause excitation of electrons to higher
       energy levels.

       Spectrum effected from the change of solid to liquid.. In the
       changing of solid to liquid, electrons go away because they
       absorb the energy, until they are excitated to the outer orbit.
       According Bohr's atom theory, electron stabilisation based on
       orbit stationer where the electron can be inside the orbit
       without release any energy. Until raise line spectrum. Line
       spectrum is a result of mechanism electron inside atom which can
       move from orbit by removing energy in photon
