sodium hydroxide a suitable solution to be used to prepare a

I'm really new here and I'm 16. ==' I don't know where to go but
I really need help with chemistry. I love the subject but I have
a hard time understanding.

Short answer is no.
NaOH is hygroscopic and it's solution will always absorb water
from the atmosphere, thus diluting it.
Na2CO3 is a better reagent. It isn't hygroscopic.
