I tried AlCl3, looks good, but the stoichiometry dosent fit in
the question.
Hmmn Michel says it's simple but it's remained unsolved over 2
weeks :-D

AlCl3 is close indeed. however I wont give any more clues. the
question is easy, maybe it's just not interesting, so few
replies. I promise the next one will be interesting:p

Titanium tetrachloride? Because, titanium tetrachloride is a
lewis acid and it reacts with moisture in the air and produces
white titanium dioxide and hydrogen chloride gas which is
acidic.
