       Did you Know ?
       1. Gallium is the metal which melts on hand due to its low
       boiling point 29.36 C.
       2. Astatine is the rarest metal on earth approx (28 g in the
       entire earth crust) .
       3. A bucket full of water contains more atomsthan there are
bucketfuls of water in the Atlantic Ocean .
       4. Gold and Copper are the only two non-white metals.
       5. The element Californium is often called the most expensive
substance in the world (as much as $68 million for one gram.)
       6. The six states of matter are: Plasmas, Gases, Liquids,
Solids, Bose-Einstein Condensates and Fermionic Condensates.
       7. The coldest state of matter — Bose-Einstein Condensate
superfluid — defies gravity and instead of flowing down, it
       flows upward.
       8. Twenty percent of Earth's oxygen is produced by the Amazon
       forest.
       9. The noble gas Xenon lasers can cut through materials that are
so tough even diamond tipped blades will not cut.
       10. The eight 'Noble metals' — ruthenium, rhodium, palladium,
silver, osmium, iridium, platinum and gold — do not rust.
       11. An ounce of gold can be stretched into a wire 80 km (50 mi)
       long.

I would think it's due to the low melting point of Gallium. Or
else with our hand at 37'C, the temperature will be more than
       enough to boil gallium! :O

Great Here are some more I found on net
--If you pour a handful of salt into a full glass of water, the
water level will actually go down rather than overflowing the
       glass.
--The only letter that doesn't appear on the periodic table is
       J.
--Lightning strikes produce O3, which is ozone, and strengthen
the ozone layer of the atmosphere.
--Approximately 20% of the oxygen in the atmosphere was produced
       by the Amazon rainforest

Caesium is a nice pale golden color metal. Also, there are a few
metals are silvery white with colors of different tinge. For
       example, Nickel with golden tinge.

Apart from H2O, The most common liquid in nature is?
       Guess!
Hint: It musn't necessarily be a compound. It could be a
       mixture!
