BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Please note that Not having a child isn’t a deficienciency
otherwise our beloved prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
wouldn't have had children with our mother Aishah may Allah be
pleased with her. And Zakariah wouldn’t have waited for so long
to have a child. And having a child does not make you better
than anyone. Allah even mentions wealth because it means that
its not by your making that you have wealth. The same way its
not by your making that you have children. Allah says All rest
with Allah. Its neither wealth or children that will qualify you
to be closer to Allah. And I want you to notice something. Allah
combines wealth and children to make you understand that its not
about working hard or trying hard. Some think its because they
have high potential and that’s why they have children. In other
words, its all in Allah ‘s hands. Allah says he’s all knowing
and he’s able to do all things. A person will use drugs for
abortion and the child will refuse to go. Those are stubborn
children. Some of the doctors will say if we do this, you will
die and she’ll be forced to have the child. Some will just cough
and have an abortion. And they want the baby so badly. There are
about 5 types of children and then we’ll talk about types of
parents. 1. Children as distraction. Allah says “do not let your
properties or children or wealth divert you from the
rememberance of Allah and whoever does that then they’re all
loosers. Allah says beware of them. Some of your wealth and
children are distracters. Some get wealthy and forget Allah and
some have children and forget Allah. This is a very bad wealth
that someone can have. Didn’t you see that someone that’s blind
says if I had eyes, I’ll be reading quran everyday. You and I
that have eyes, are we reading the quran everyday. Those gifts
we have are distracting us from Allah. Some will say if I could
hear, I’ll be listening to Quran from morning to night. You and
I that have ears, do we listen to quran. A poor person would say
Allah if I were to be rich, I’ll do this and that. This person
has children and none of them know how to read quran. Some
children are distractions on their own. Some are wealthy and
spend it in the path of Allah.
