THE CONCEPT OF AJE
By: Captshittu Date: August 11, 2017, 6:49 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
CONCEPT OF AJE.
Briefly according to history, Aje is believed to be a Godess of
wealth and economic prosperity, this orisha aid the accumulation
of wealth and prevent dwindling of one’s economic growth, aje
olokun seni ade, omon bibi inu olokun ni (Aje is the daughter of
olokun) aje is an extremely paramount Orisa that anybody who
really wants wealth, economic prosperity , growth and
maintenance of wealth should have in his or her possession.
This is the believe of Youbas.
Meanwhile, Islam has told us that Allah is the One Who grants
wealth to whomever He wills and prevent whomever He wills.
He says: “And whoever fears Allah, for him Allah brings forth a
way out, and gives him provision (rizq) from where he does not
even imagine…”
(Surah Talaq).
This verse has pointed that it's Allah that give provisions.
Hence, annulled the believe of Yourba in *Aje*.
So, if someone believes in the Yoruba context of Aje and uses it
by saying "Aje A wa oo", that is, the goddess Aje will bring
wealth or make your market sell, then that is nothing but
*SHIRK* (partner with Allah) in power.
I hope you guys get this?
However, if a person says it without knowing the origin of it,
then it's not a sin until the person realises that it's wrong.
But, if someone still says it, haven't known what it is but
claim that he/she is just greeting or that his intention is
clean, then he is promoting *SHIRK* and he is sinning.
Allah encourages us to promote goodness and that we should not
help one another in act of sin.
So, Muslims have to be careful of such greetings.
It's wrongly wrong.
Whoever says it intentionally, it's Shirk.
Whoever says it unknowingly, will be pardoned In Shaa Allah.
However, whoever says it knowing the root but claims he's just
greeting is sinning.
And Allah knows best.
