Jennifer Nettles with That Girl Album

She is now mostly a solo artist and her brand new album just
debuted at number 1! Congrats to Jennifer, she says she will
keep a Sugarland reunion in mind down the road.

Yeah, hoping she still does some things with Sugarland. I like
the twang in her vocals.

Jennifer Nettles had to grow on me over the course of a couple
years. When I first heard her, I didn't like her at all, but I
have since changed my tune (no pun intended). I didn't hear that
she was going out on her own, though. What was the reason for
the breakup?

I believe that she was interested in doing a solo release and
that was what caused her to step away for awhile. I guess trying
to see what she's capable of on her own!

I kind of feel like she was Sugarland, though. Kristian Bush
isn't really a front man without her. I respect her choices, but
I don't see why she had to go out on her own when she already
kind of was on her own in a sense. I guess she needed to feel
more independent.
