Alabaster chuckled at the girl, and a gentle smile formed on his
lips. "There is no way you will be able to carry all of this on
your own, even if you were going to the home right over there."
As he spoke, he pointed toward a nearby door, to direct her
attention there. "Please, allow me to help you~ I would feel
horrible if I simply left you to struggle with all of this."

Oblivious to what his actions had done to the girl, Infinity
focused on trying to scrub the soot off of himself. As he gazed
down at the water rolling off of him, his nose scrunched up. The
water was pitch black, and it disgusted the boy.
"No more trying spells without Ala in the house," he grumbled to
himself.

Sophie's lips pulled down as she frowned a bit, not really
wanting to accept Alabaster's offer but he spoke the truth and
she knew that. "Very well," She muttered, finally relenting and
allowing the man to help her. "You may help me."

Miren lay prone on the floor, unconscious while her face was
still a brilliant shade of red. Along her cheek was the soot
marking that showed where Infinity had kissed her.

Alabaster smiled upon hearing Sophie accept his offer. Without
any further hesitation, the wizard picked up a majority of the
fallen items, carrying them with unnatural ease. When he stood
again, the wizard waited patiently for the girl to stand as
well.
~
After he had cleaned himself, Infinity dried off and changed
into his clean clothes. He emerged for the bathroom, planning on
washing his dirty laundry... But a certain sight made the boy
gasp in surprise. "M-Miren?" he asked, running over toward her
side.

Sophie rose to her feet, carefully balancing the things in her
arms while she moved to start walking towards her home, already
expecting the man to follow her. She kept herself silent,
preferring to walk quietly rather than actually talk.

Miren was still quite unconscious as Infinity noticed her and
ran over to her side. The girl's face was slowly beginning to
lose it's bright red shade, so thankfully she was starting to
calm down.

As Sophie expected, Alabaster followed along side of Sophie,
keeping up with her easily. As they walked, the wizard appeared
to be gazing forward...Though in actuality, now and then, he
would sneak a look over at the girl beside him.
~
Infinity felt rather helpless as Miren laid unresponsive, not
sure what he could do to help her. The wizard sat back a bit,
though, and watched as the color began to fade on her,returning
her skin to a normal shade. THat was good... Right?

Sophie adjusted the things in her arms, trying to keep a good
hold on them so she didn't lose anything. The girl glanced
towards the man next to her, not realizing that he was sneaking
glances at her as well. "Thank you..." She stated, after all it
would be rude not to thank the man for helping her.

After a few moments, Miren's eyes slowly fluttered and she began
to wake up... Rather dazed and confused, her face squinted up
and she looked about herself trying to figure out what happened.

Alabaster perked up a bit upon hearing Sophie speak. The man
turned his head and gazed at her for a moment, before smiling
gently once more. "There is no need to thank me," he hummed, "It
is my pleasure to help."

Infinity seemed to become rather relieved as Miren's eyes
fluttered open. "Thank goodness," he breathed, relaxing a bit
and smiling at the girl, "I was worried when I came out here and
found you unconscious on the ground."

Sophie glanced towards the man once again, noticing his gentle
smile but at the moment she wasn't about to smile back at him.
"We're almost there," She told him subtly picking up her pace so
they could get to her home a bit faster.

Miren blinked with a bit of confusion as she stared at Infinity,
before her cheeks reddened again once more. "W-what? I-I was
u-unconscious?" She questioned, her brows furrowing a bit before
raising a hand to touch her forehead.

Alabaster nodded at the girl's words, and as Sophie sped up, so
did he. The wizard seemed rather content walking along side of
the girl, even though he was carrying a large load of items in
his arms.

"Yes, you were, Miren," Infinity murmured, frowning a bit as
worry lined his gaze, "I came out of the bathroom and found you
lying on the ground unconscious."

As they approached Sophie's home, the girl had oddly enough felt
herself relaxing quite a bit next to Alabaster... She'd been
worried that the man would start bugging her about various
things, but instead he seemed content to just walk in silence.
Which was a relief for her. The girl moved forward to walk up to
the door and gently nudge it open while trying not to drop
anything.

Miren felt her face fall, even as she moved to sit up. "I-I'm
sorry... I d-didn't mean to w-worry you or anything..." She
mumbled, looking rather ashamed that she'd reacted like that
even if she'd been intensely embarrassed by having a boy kiss
her cheek like that. "P-please forgive me!"
