The village of Hollis was a quaint nicely sized village. The
were cobbled roads and pleasant buildings, it was quite well off
and the people there were quite comfortable. The outlining
houses to the south of the village, were farm houses; with large
tracts of land that were cleared out and plowed to make
excellent farmland. There were several pastures where animals
grazed peacefully under the watchful eye of the farmers and
       their guard dogs.
Along the outside edge of the northern and eastern border of the
village was a large sprawling forest. It was a dense, dark wood
filled with various dangers. It had a rather bad reputation as
being a place of evil and many stories are told among the
villagers about how terrible witches there who eat the hearts of
young maidens who venture to far within it's depths. Some find
the tales to be silly, while others are fanatical in trying to
make sure that they do nothing to anger the evils that may lie
in the dark recesses of that forest.
Sophie, on one hand, was one of those who cared little for the
tales... Finding them to be nothing but childish exaggerations
of the over-active imagination. After all, she was a smart and
clever girl, there had yet to be a situation where she couldn't
take care of herself. The girl was quite proud of her
cleverness, realizing that the other girls in the village
weren't half so clever as her. They were far too distracted with
frills of dresses, catching the fancy of eligible boys and
gossip. She had much better things to do... Like learning about
various plants and their effects from the village doctor. It was
certainly very interesting and as her interest grew, so did her
curiosity. Eventually she began to slip into the woods,
constantly wandering to and fro within its leafy boughs in
search of herbs that could be useful.
The young woman was a pretty thing, while not quite as lovely as
some of the other girls in the village, Sophie was quite aware
that she wasn't unattractive either. She didn't put much stock
in her looks, but she couldn't help but admire herself in the
mirror now and then. Long flowing red hair, smooth pale skin
with the slightest of freckles along the cheeks beneath her
brilliant hazel green eyes, plus long lashes that fluttered
quite well if ever needed to.

The tales about dangers looking in the forest were all too true,
even with skeptics wanting to disbelieve it. Animals and
wandering strangers were not the only things lurking within.
Though most did a good job of hiding themselves, several
powerful wizards and witches made their home in the woods, and
most of them preferred to stay there.
One, however, enjoyed the company of those who lived in the
neighboring town, all too much. Alabaster Cobrina resided in his
home, which many people referred to as a castle, quite often,
though even he could not ignore the call that civilization had.
His home, while not at all grand in appearance, was still rather
well known to those who cared to look hard enough. The building
looked rather worn down and put together out of scraps and
pieces left behind. It stood tall on four thin-looking
appendages, which looked almost like bat-wings holding it up,
but despite the fact that the wings looked as though they should
snap under the building's weight they managed to move through
       the forest without issue.
Inside, the home was just as run-down in appearance. An
ash-filled hearth sat off to the side, with a small fire glowing
and making the building appear warm and inviting. Tables and
counters were piled on with foods and papers, making the
building completely cluttered in what some would call 'filth'.
However, the man who owned the house seemed to be rather
content, even as he sat down in a chair with papers wedged
between him and the arms of it.
"Something doesn't seem right here," the man grumbled, flipping
through the pages of a book resting in his lap, "It makes no
sense... The calculations are all wrong..."
       "Is something wrong, Alabaster?"
The man lifted his head to see who was addressing him, and at
the sight of a slightly younger boy gazing at him, the wizard
smiled. "Not at all, Requiem... Don't you worry yourself." With
that said, the man rose to his feet and tucked the book away on
a shelf, before walking toward the door. "I'll be back in a
little while," he called out, while pulling the door open as he
did so, "Make sure Frost is well taken care of," he hummed, and
then without another word, the man disappeared.
Requiem sighed, and moved to flop down where the other man had
just been, snuggling into the paper-covered couch. "Whatever you
       say," he hummed.

(It may take me a bit to get Sophie into the right position to
meet Ala and the others o.o So I'll concentrate on Miren to
       interact with the wizards~)
The door, to a nice warm looking home, opened and Sophie walked
in with a basket on her arm filled to the brim with various
plants as well as flowers. She looked about the living room,
taking in the comfortable surroundings and smiling a bit as she
made her way to her own room. This room was small and slightly
cramped, but Sophie loved it... After all it was her own and she
could do with it whatever she wanted. The walls, shelves and any
surface really was covered in the flowers and plants she
       collected and pressed to preserve.
"Sophie, are you there?" A voice called out, there was a knock
on the door and Sophie turned her head to look towards the door
       of her room.
"Yes, father?" She responded, setting her basket down on the
       table next to her bed.
       "May I come in?"
       "Yes,"
The door opened and a man entered, offering the girl a smile. "I
see you've been busy collecting more plants." He responded,
before his eyes narrowed just ever so slightly, "You didn't go
back into the forest did you?"
Sophie forced herself to stay relaxed, so her father didn't
suspect her any further. "Definitely not, father." She lied
       hoping he would believe her.
       -
Within Alabaster's castle, living among the men who called the
castle home, was a young pretty woman. It was her responsibility
to keep the castle clean and livable... Unfortunately, with the
people who lived there, it was far beyond Miren's capabilities.
As the moment she cleaned one portion of the castle and moved
off to the next, the whirlwind that was the wizards dirtied it
       all up again.
She did her best though and kept trying as hard as she could to
clean the castle up. Her long brown hair was pulled back into a
pony tail, keeping it out of her face as she dusted and scrubbed
the hallways. The woman was quite tired as day in and day out of
cleaning was hard on a person's body, but Miren never complained
or raised her voice to her employers.

       (Haha, alright~ ^^)
After escaping his castle, Alabaster wandered through the skies
to look over the town near his home. The wizard enjoyed watching
things from afar - after all, it gave him the chance to see more
when he was up high, and he enjoyed the sights of people
       scurrying around down below.
The wizard walked over toward a rooftop and took a seat on it's
edge, growing bored of walking and standing around. The man
smiled, and waved a hand in the air to produce a glass of some
sort, taking a sip from the drink inside it.
       ~
Within the castle, things were surprisingly calm and quiet for
once. Requiem had fallen asleep within his seat, Alabaster was
gone, and there was no word of Infinity anywhere around. It was
       peaceful, a welcome change...
As expected with the castle, though, the peace did not last for
long. Out of nowhere a loud, violent bang echoed through the
home, and it shook slightly from the force of an explosion. Soon
after, Infinity came barreling out of his room, smoke following
close behind. The poor wizard was covered in soot, and as soon
as he was far enough from his room he doubled over in a coughing
       fit.

Once the conversation with her father was finished, Sophie
slipped out of the house once more. Though instead of heading
for the forest, she made her way to the market street. At her
side was a pouch of coins, as her father had explained they were
going to have a nice dinner tonight with several important
guests and it was her duty to head out and get the groceries
that they would need to make this fine dinner. Sophie walked
confidently down the street, one hand on her pouch to make sure
       it didn't go missing.
       -
Miren practically jumped out of her skin as she heard the loud
bang. The girl immediately dropped what she was doing, leaped to
her feet and rushed towards where she'd heard the noise. Seeing
Infinity bent over coughing quite a bit as smoke billowed from
the room behind him, the girl ran forward and gently placed a
       hand upon his sooty back.
"Are you alright?" She breathed, deep concern for the young
wizard written all across her face.

From his rooftop perch, Alabaster had been taking in the view of
several women walking passed. The man had just recently let go
of the last girl he had affections for, and now that he was
free, he was looking once more. The wizard smiled a bit, and
slipped down from the rooftop, into an alley so he could plop
       down unnoticed.
As he walked out of the alley, and into the crowd, he could not
help but hear the same group of girls he had been watching start
to talk about him, giggling and saying something about him being
attractive. The wizard smirked, almost smug as he did so, and
kept walking - as if to tease the girls.
       ~
Infinity clutched at his chest for a moment and attempted to
clear his lungs of the soot. For several moments, he did not
even notice Miren was there, though when he finally calmed down
and straightened himself out, he took one last, deep breath of
clean air, and then noticed the girl was beside him. He offered
her a wide grin, his face lighting up at the sight of her. It
was almost as if he had not just blown something up and almost
       died in the process.
"I'm perfectly fine, Miren," he hummed, dusting himself off a
bit as if that would help make him more presentable, "I just...
Had a little miscalculation is all~"
"Little?" Requiem teased from downstairs, laughing loudly for a
moment and making Infinity pout, "Nothing should explode like
       that from a little miscalculation."
"Shut up!" Infinity whined, pouting down toward the stairs,
where he knew Requiem was hiding below.

As Sophie walked through the market street, she paid no
attention what so ever to anyone but those she had to talk to
while buying the groceries. She didn't even take notice of the
handsome wizard who was teasing several village girls. Her focus
was just getting what she needed.
"Here ya go, ma'am... Nice fresh vegetables!" A merchant hummed,
offering up his wares to her... Quite eager to see if she'd buy
       any.
"They do look fresh." Sophie hummed, which was a compliment as
she was notorious in the village for being extremely picky over
what she would buy. The merchant puffed up a bit, quite pleased
with the fact that she was complimenting his vegetables.
After a few moments she bought what she needed from the gracious
merchant and had settled the various items within her basket.
"Now... I need some meat." Sophie muttered to herself,
remembering what her father had told her to buy.
       -
Miren was still quite worried as Infinity just clutched his
chest and coughed for a few moments. When he stood up and beamed
at her, the girl instinctively blushed lightly and offered him a
       relieved smile in return.
"I'm certainly glad you're alright..." She breathed, her voice
naturally soft-spoken and quiet. When he shouted back at
Requiem, the girl shuffled her feet a bit nervously. She knew
nothing about these wizardly things, so she had no idea what
Infinity was talking about when he said 'miscalculation' but it
       didn't sound good.
"Is there anything I can help you with?" Miren asked softly, her
eyes glittering with an eagerness to be useful to the wizard and
a tinge of hopefulness that he'd let her help.

While he had been wandering through the village, Alabaster
seemed almost... uninterested in the people around him. It was
the same old thing over and over again, and he was growing a bit
bored with the repetitive nature around him. The wizard sighed,
and turned on his heels to try and head back to his castle. He
found nothing of interest, and saw no need to stay.
Just as he turned though, something caught his attention, and
the wizard perked up a bit. The sight of red hair, a shade he
had never seen before, caught his eye with ease, and soon after
he let his eyes drift over the girl to take in her form. He
smiled, and watched the girl for a few moments, before he
decided to follow after her- keeping far enough away that he
would not raise any flags, but close enough that he could still
       see her a bit.
       ~
Infinity grumbled quietly under his breath as Requiem teased
him, saying something along the lines of, "stupid wizard" and,
"pain in my butt". It was obvious the boy did not appreciate the
teasing. However, as Miren spoke to him, the newer wizard perked
up and smiled at her. "A-Ah, sure!" he hummed, before pausing to
think, "Umm... I guess, tell Frost to warm up a bit of water for
a bath? I should probably try to clean myself up..." As he
spoke, he looked down at his soot-covered self, and frowned.

Sophie had not noticed Alabaster's sudden interest in her... Far
too caught up within what she was doing to pay attention to
other people looking at her. The girl paused in front of where
she was going to buy the meat. She considered her options very
carefully, looking around at the different selections. After a
few moments she bought plenty of meat for dinner.
With that she turned a bit, looking around the market street as
she tried to think of what else she'd need to get.
       -
Miren waited patiently in front of Infinity, just letting him
grumble a bit to himself before he responded to her words. When
he finally did, the girl beamed and nodded her head, "Alright! I
can do that," She hummed. With that the girl moved to head
through the hallway towards the living room area where the
hearth was located. She approached the fire that was glowing
warmly there, "Um~ Frost?..." She called politely to the flame,
tilting her head a bit as she spoke, "Infinity needs hot water
for a bath. Do you think that would be okay? Please?"
