Yeah haha, in the old forum they sort of popped up at random...
I let everyone Rp as they saw fit and if any sort of tension
arose I usually did something to make it worse so a battle would
break out haha XP

Well I guess my question also pertains to Alabaster and Sophie
in a way lol... Mostly about what Alabaster's people would think
if they saw their ruling Prince fall in love with a Canine
o.o... I mean, I know that you said that the Serpents didn't
have that much of a problem with Canines and the people have a
lot of faith in Alabaster to lead them well... Since no one
seemed too bothered by the fact that Ala was just talking with
Sophie.
But if he started to fall in love with her and it was quite
obvious that was what's going on... Wouldn't the people start to
get mad? o.o Just because that everyone's racist, Serpents are
highly aggressive and it would almost be like Alabaster's father
again except with a different species and without him already
being married xD

Well... I know in the old forum, when Damona and Alabaster
announced their relationship, it was after a period of time
where Damona had been held in the infirmary to heal (She had
gotten pretty beat up during a battle with the Canines, and
Alabaster happened upon her and saved her)... So a decent amount
of the villagers/army/ect had known something was up and they
were okay with it... However, a majority of the Kingdom was
disgusted... No one really tried to go against Alabaster,
though, as he warned that he would not accept any sort of
disagreement on his lovelife, or any attempts to harm Damona...
There was an attempt made on her life, and Alabaster had the
person killed for it o.O
So if the villagers or whatever were to find out about Alabaster
and Sophie, it would probably on his terms, and he would make
sure it was obvious he would not stand for any attempts on his
or Sophie's lives o.o And to enforce that point he would take
drastic measures toward anyone who tried to go against his word.
With his father, it was two different species who were pissed
off... As it was two royals, and they created a "monstrocity".
In this instance it's only the Serpents, a lot of whom respect
Alabaster quite a bit, and a... Rogue Canine, I guess you could
call Sophie? XD As she doesn't live with the Canines... The
Serpents don't really have much of an issue with the Canines, as
Alabaster stated, so they wouldn't be as angry... Unlike when
Ala was in love with an Avian, in the case of AlaxDamona. o.o

Ohh I see o.o I guess that does make sense lol I never read Ala
and Damona's story on the Old Shifters forum... It's hard to
imagine Ala without Sophie for me and I'd probably start
thinking, "Sophie would never do that!" the entire time reading
it x-x;
So once they got into a relationship he'd probably keep it
secret until he felt the time was right to announce it to his
people? Oh goodness XD I guess things are going to end badly for
my Rodent assassin since he's going to die to assassinate Sophie
/and/ Sarafina =P... That is if he's caught~
What I'm trying to figure out at the moment is how to have them
continue to meet one another, without being completely obvious
to all of Serpent territory since apparently everyone is aware
of Ala meeting Sophie this first time XD Haha... Is there
someplace that they could meet that would be private
(relatively) and would allow them to grow closer without fear of
attracting anger from species that might try to break them up?
o.o;
I know it's not the same as Damona and Ala... But wouldn't the
Serpents still be pissed at the fact that all of Ala's children
would be Hybrids? They may not be as aggressive towards Sophie
for being a Canine, but I thought they hated the Hybrids just as
fiercely as they hated the Avians if not more o.o
And yeah I guess you could say Sophie's a Rogue Canine lol,
honestly she doesn't really view herself with any connection
towards the Canine territory except for being the same species.
If you asked her where her home was, then she'd respond with
'Outskirts'.
One of my ideas, which lead to me asking about the battle
stuff... Is if there's an attack on the Hybrids home... Then
maybe someone in Sophie's family could be hurt which would freak
Sophie out. And they could hurry said family member to Elephant
territory to see if they can heal the person. And perhaps Ala
could be there/arrive there... And eventually start using it as
a meeting place or something since it's neutral land xD Haha

We could have them meet in the Elephant territory haha. Ashani
is not racist toward Hybrids, and she believes people should
love whoever their heart desires... Not to mention the fact that
she's sort of taken up a motherly role toward Alabaster, since
he had to take over the Kingdom at such a young age. So she'd be
more than willing to help him and Sophie out XD
At first, yes... But if Ala announced that they were together,
and she started living among the Serpents, let's say, they'd end
up getting used to having her there and they'd warm up to the
idea.
Plus, I have plans of Ala and Kerrigan making up like the last
forum, thoguh it'll be a bit different of course... So then the
Serpents would have to get over the whole Hybrid thing, as the
brothers would have made amends and the Serpents would become
allies with the Hybrids o.o
We could do something like that, haha~

Sophie will greatly enjoy having a place to meet Ala safely
without having to worry about angry Serpents attacking her =P
Ohh, I see! That would make sense! With Ala and Kerrigan making
up, before his announcement... By then the Serpents would have
gotten used to having Hybrids around period and it would make it
easier for Sophie to be introduced as his love~ ^^ Though I'd
imagine some Serpents still lashing out at her... Largely the
females that were vying for Ala's attention and really hoped to
be made Queen of the Serpents XD Lol It may not get up to
assassinations though... Perhaps some rotten fruit thrown at
Sophie~? =P
And of course Sophie would live with the Serpents~ ^^ She'd
never leave Ala once he announced their relationship~ I can just
imagine that after a long day of dealing with stressful other
races, Ala goes to his room and curls up on the bed with his
head in Sophie's lap and she just listens as he vents about the
hardships of being a Prince XD And she's just running her hand
through his hair soothingly~ ^^
