Might be an idea to introduce ourselves to the group. With our
location.
I live near Basingstoke and I own a Robin Hood 2B with a 2.0
Pinto engine and a twin choke weber. Not the fastest car around
but it works for me. i go on track days occasionally with my son
who has a Westfield 2.0 Zetec, its faster than mine!! My ideal
car would be a 7 with a V8 engine in it.
Currently I am having coolant problems, I have the standard
Sierra radiator inclined at an angle to fit under the bonnet,
keeps the engine cool ok, just having issues with hose
connections, have had to extend the bottom hose with a couple of
home made pipe joiners which consistently leak. I have just
ordered a couple of bespoke pipe joiners with beads at each end.
They should seal it all ok.
Would be interested in any car meets/runs in the South if anyone
near here?

Im based in Essex area. Currently got a Mac#1 ZR, absolutely
love it and it looks the nuts.
Purchased it for around 5k but done a fair bit to it since then.
Currently thinking of selling the car in order to get a bike
powered kit car.
Although the Bec are not too good for reliability
Would also be interested in car meets around south east area.
