They don't have to have any one grand gesture or gimmick,
there's more than enough to the Power Rangers universe to where
simply developing characters can be the most important thing.

That's fine, it's part of the tropes to be associated with Power
Rangers.
But even then, the power boosts rarely have entire stories
attached to them. The focus can't always be on a gimmick acting
as the totality of the entertainment.

If you retool power rangers hexagon into a shield like group an
make divisions like all aniaml based rangers would work for one
part, an same with vehicles, an the bad guys to counter group
can form a hammer/aim/hydra like group, an work together to stop
good, so hexagon can work, but one change make it multiversal to
include super sentai an such

I am feeling the idea of a shield organizzation can work for the
power rangers it can be tvcomic/videogame/movie/fanfiction an
more, an work with each division handling specific duties, like
mystic division handles magic stuff, another on cosmic stuff,
some one ? an unknown, anl so the idea for sheild type group can
include all senti/super sentai an more an include non ranger
teams like masked rider, beetleborgs an others so this idea for
the sheild group can use the original idea for hexagon but just
have a specific individual in charge of it like captain
mitchell, ab then put tommy in charge of one divion, jason in
another, an say mighty morphin power rangers team is needed,
jason, trini, zack, tommy, billy, rocky, adam, aishia, kathrine
can get together, as for adam, rocky, aisha, an kathrine they
would be given new dino/thunder power coins, an zack, jason,
trini would get new ninja coins, an this orginization can be
multiversal with it eventually expanding to other realities,
like buffy the vampire slayer wor;d an such, sheild like group
can work, an enemies can take same idea an do same, an really
become a true alliance of evil

The idea of a shield like organiztion for power rangers has
merit, like I said there can be rangers that has one job to
prevent major crisis, a crisis team that would have authority in
all tv
shows/comics/books/videogames/movies/cartoons/anime/?/unknown/etc
an could call on rangers of the
future/?/unknown/present/beyond/past of power
rangers/vrtoopers/masked rider/big bad beetleborgs/beetleborgs
metallix/ninja turtles the next mutation an its 3 movies/mysic
knights of tiranog/los luchadores/galdior/ultraman tiga/kanen
rider dragonknight/super human samurai syber squad/etc an if
needed a member of each can be summoned to help in the problem,
so shield like group can work!
