Nothing that has ever happened matters if the next author says
it doesn't. DC are allowing their stories to cherry-pick
history rather than have to adhere to any of it.
Continuity no longer matters to them.

resurrecting pre crisis supergirl an dc would let the person
bring her back and also so this mean anything goes for dc

Any way they want it to work.
Again, continuity means nothing to DC anymore. They just write
what they want to write now, there is no logic to it.

Future State is the idea of trimming down their universe, not
adding more. DC is trying to shrink the reach of their stories.
