It can't happen, though, that's what I keep telling you.
Anti-trust laws are in effect to keep one conglomerate from
controlling an entire industry. For Disney and Warner Bros. to
merge, they would have to sell a considerable amount of things
they own, meaning selling Marvel and DC would be a strong
possibility. And if Marvel and DC were sold, we're back to
where we are now with the two companies unable to work together
because they're not owned by the same companies.
There is no point to seeing Disney and Warner merge if Marvel
and DC can't legally also be merged. They would just be another
movie company like Disney is now that they've purchased 20th
Century Fox.

And like I said before, Crisis on Infinite Earths destroyed
every universe that existed before the late 1980s, and didn't
affect any universes created after the late 1980s. That's the
answer.

That would be too much trouble. Marvel generally has real-world
locations, DC generally has fake locations, so to merge the
universes would be too confusing to figure out where cities
should be, like how far Gotham City is from New York City.

It's cosmetic, cosmetics never last with comic book characters
because people want to see the original costumes again.

The Shazam spell is a superlative, the traits of the gods are
the greatest in existence. The Power Cosmic couldn't make the
Shazam spell more powerful because that would defy the power of
the gods. It would be the same as the herald of Galactus being
more powerful than Galactus himself, Galactus could not give
power that he himself did not exceed by default.

It means that so many fans whined that DC had to make something
up to appease them.
Remember when Kamen Rider Decade went to the alternate versions
of the original 9 Rider worlds? That's pretty much what DC is
saying happened in the new movie, alternate versions of their
animated worlds were the ones that got destroyed.
