The source of the powers isn't the issue, it's the invalidation
of morphing that's the issue.
Lothor took the Ninja Storm powers away, and the Wind Rangers
still beat him easily because they still had ninja powers. The
suspense was completely removed, and remains so for every team
that can do superpowered things without transforming first.

Nobody wants civilian powers. Fans always felt it took away
from the martial arts prowess the characters should display.

the civillian power unlocked as season goes, an ya know hasbro
could try it again in original stuff

a group of rangers should explore idea of it, in future series!
Also should in future power rangers explore the idea of set of
young gods, be given ranger powers?
