Starting over again

Hi there,
I go by Fox these days. We might not do content warnings here
but I know I appreciate them so I will offer mine in case they
help. My story won't go into huge detail unless someone asks for
it/it would be beneficial, but I'm going to mention things like
weight loss, weight gain, emotional abuse, and suicidal
thoughts/ideation. If you don't want to read my story because
seeing those things mentioned would be upsetting for you, that's
a-okay. We can be friends anyway, just not on this post.
😂
The story:
I've battled anxiety and depression and social issues my entire
life. I was super duper underweight as a kid and into my teens.
In my early twenties I discovered and fell in love with
weightlifting and was able to add some healthy pounds to my body
after years of not being able to keep myself in a healthy weight
range.
Then I had some debilitating health issues. That made the mental
health get worse. I ended up in a mentally and emotionally
abusive relationship, which when combined with the health issues
and mental health issues made me gain weight dramatically. (At
least, dramatically for me. Something like 60 lbs in 2 years?)
Since getting out of that situation I have gotten a LOT better.
My mental health is more stable, though I still struggle from
time to time. I have lost 40 lbs (I fluctuate between 40 and 45
lbs lost - this week it's more like 40) and I have kept it off
for a year as of this past May.
Now I am looking toward the future. My goals are about more than
just existing. I want to THRIVE.
Wish me luck. Good luck to all of you!

Luck/fate is nice for bad things that are 100% out of my
control.
And I figure if I'm going to imply the existence of bad luck
it's a good idea to wish some good luck back into the universe.

I am glad you are mostly stable and wish you luck in finding the
balance!
May we learn to THRIVE well! [emoji171]
