I found a hidden message yesterday { open } and I still can't fi
gure it out

Matthias was exploring a rather interesting creek that ran
through the valley he was in. It was great for a bunch of
reasons: It was great for splashing though, it showed his
reflection really well. There was everything great to think
about it except it didn't have any fish. Optimistic as he was,
however, he didn't try to think about the absence of prey. But
still, he hadn't eaten since two days ago. How was the former
Oilclanner going to catch anything if he couldn't find anything
to catch?

Padding carefully and slowly through the valley, the mountain
lion by the name of Currere. She was stalking through the grass,
hearing something up ahead. [I]prey?[/I] thought the female,
keeping her tan colored body close to the ground as she moved
forward.

Matthias didn't notice anything. He sat down and stared into the
water, surprised to see that there was one fish, swirling lazily
through the water. Overexcited, he jumped at it and snagged it's
tail bit it squirmed free and got away. The tabby flopped down
into the water sadly, watching the only prey he'd seen in a day
swim away.

Currere crouched, getting ready to pounce on the thing that she
thought was a rabbit. The mountain lion then aimed to leap
through the grass and tackle Matthias.

Something hit Matthias and he fell over. The loner looked up at
the cat - no, was it a mountain lion? - that had attacked him.
His face was a look of pure terror. "Please don't kill me!"

Temporarily unsure of how to respond to her rabbit being a cat
and not actually prey, she sort of stood there.
"I'm not going to kill you" [I]why are you not a rabbit?[/I]
Currere thought angrily.

Matthias was relieved. "Oh, thank you." he mewed, getting to his
paws. "I know I'm small, so I kind of look like some kind of
prey or something. It's happened before. Or were you doing that
for a different reason? If it was to scare me, you were pretty
good at it."

Zelda chuckled at the conversation. She was sitting on a rock
above them. Of course she was from a different Land, but she
liked to eavesdrop. "You thought that mouse-brain of a cat was
a rabbit?" She chuckled, unseathing her claws.

Currere let out a slight yelp as she heard another voice. She
turned and looked around and saw Zelda.
"Yes" the cougar growled, but she knew not to underestimate
anyone or anything.
