FiveM?

Have any of you guys tried this out yet? I remember having hope
for gtavmp until R* shut them down, but FiveM has been standing
the test of time.
I can't find any real deathmatch servers and 90% of its
population is roleplay. For this reason I've mainly just dicked
around in their few popular drifting servers. I haven't played a
deathmatch yet on it myself, but the very few videos I see on
youtube it doesn't look bad.
From my experience, the more resources the server tries to pull,
like on the drifting servers, the more desync. All that data
from the server's mods are constantly being streamed to you live
from the server and too many mods in combination with a high
ping equals some really bad desync. So as long as it's not full
of different character, map, and vehicle mods, there shouldn't
be much lag at all.
I can't find partyserver anywhere on SA-MP anymore. Is it still
a thing? And in any case, what are you guys' thoughts on maybe
writing and hosting a partyserver deathmatch script in FiveM?
There truly seems to be a hole to be filled in that regard with
what I've seen hosted so far on the mod and I think it could
really be successful. The servers are only 32 players large, so
we would possibly need 2-3 extra servers if the server
population starts growing. There's only 2 different hosts for
the drifting servers that people actually go to, and each of
them have a few back up servers for people to spill into when
the main one is full.
KFC's legacy in GTA ended in San Andreas. GTA:IV on PC was a
dump, and FiveM is starting to make really good progress. Id
personally like to see KFC be extended into the GTA V universe
and FiveM is the perfect jump in my opinion. If anyone else
wants to get behind this I'd offer support in server fees or
what have you.

SP sometimes, but im up for something else if you all are

snake you sound like an old man. you were one of the best in ps.
i understand though, the sense of community was nice in sa-mp.
if im playing mp with anyone now a days it's with in real life
friends.
but it's real chill just drifting in those velocity servers in
fivem, so if you peek your head in there and are interested in
sticking with even that for a little while let me know. really
satisfying going 3 wide into a corner full speed door to door.
;)
has around 20,000 active players average (mainly in roleplay..),
there's tons of scripts, and i'm hoping future updates improve
desync for servers with a lot of resources. i never really
explored the gun mechanics in gtav, as gtaonline felt dull and
lifeless and especially pointless without dedicated servers.
im hoping a deathmatch-esque server like ps or gamerx develops
and if no one else does it and you guys were down i'd help with
server costs and building scripts and the like.
