That's a lot of pink!
I hope this is decent. I get a bit of an Alice in Wonderland
vibe from those pics. I know it was popular but I hated that
movie.

Me, too. I thought it was terrible. After the first one, my
friend and me decided that if there was a sequel we wouldn't go
to it. If the first one was that bad, I didn't want to see how
bad the second one was going to be.
I'm with you, I hope they did a much better job with this movie
than they did with Alice in Wonderland.

So, Joe Johnston, a different director, is coming in to do 32
days of reshoots for this movie.
I'd say this isn't a good sign. Supposedly Lasse Hallstrom's not
doing it because of a scheduling issue, and he says he's still
involved in post-production, but a month of reshoots in any case
probably isn't great news, right?
then again, they do have nearly a year before the film comes
out, but whatever they have so far must not have been working.

Usually it isn't but then Disney is Disney and if you remember
correctly they had Star Wars: Rogue one do extensive reshoots
too. They are a bunch of controlling freaks! Anyway hopefully
this doesn't spell disaster!

Reshoots are very common for this kind of production so I
wouldn't read anything into the fact that they're happening.
Them being done by a different director does seem a bit odd,
though. And with the release still being almost a year away
could they really not have found a time suitable for everyone if
they wanted to?
But who knows. There may well be perfectly good reasons for all
of it.

Yeah, I question the schedule/time thing. I have a feeling the
studio didn't like what Hallstrom had done, tbh. Especially
since there's apparently new material written by a new
screenwriter now?
Seems odd.

Here's the full trailer, just a few glimpses of Keira. Looks
interesting, and knowing the Disney hype machine, it could be a
decent sized hit if it's any good.

The only Disney remake that I've liked is Beauty and the beast,
so my expectatives are low. By the way Keira looks stuning.

That actually looks kinda good to me! Although maybe it's the
music fooling me, who knows. I'm hopeful though, for this one.
