Awesome! Is she playing the organizing director of the pageant?
I just looked up the real life story and it seems like that
might be her character, she was only 31 at the time. And if
she's the lead, then that's probably who she'd be, I'm guessing.

Awesome news. I find Gugu to be quite uninspiring and flat but
this is a good team overall. Rich material here for Keira to
sink her teeth into.

Wow another movie and sound like a very interesting one. I love
Gugu Mbatha she is amazing so it is going to be another
exciting one. Keira is unstoppable !

Sounds like a fascinating project, and a little different
direction for her. Love that it's a story centered around
women's issues, definitely right up Keira's alley. She's making
such important work! And I love that she has such a lineup of
projects, really a great time to be a long standing Keira fan. I
feel like this is the burst we've all been waiting for!

There is no information about the role she is taking on as of
yet. They're just stating that Keira, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessie
Buckley were cast in the movie, that Left Bank pictures are
producing and that Pathe will handle distribution. There is also
nothing on IMDB the last time I checked. I guess we'll have to
wait to find out more particulars.

Guessing this will probably film sometime next year, like in
spring or something.that means it'll be ready for release in
2020. so we get two more years of Keira movies to look forward
to!

I just read that this starts filming next month. That's quicker
than I thought. It probably won't be that long of a shoot
either, so this could potentially be coming out next fall.
