Whoa, planned release date later this year?
That would mean she has four movies coming out this fall/winter!
With lead roles in three of them.
That's crazy. I really hope they all work. That's a LOT of
promotion too. So that's Colette in September, Nutcracker in
November (and I bet The Aftermath will be scheduled for November
too, but that's just a guess), and then I suppose this one will
probably be the latest release, like maybe late December or
something.
Ha ha, something tells me if all of these movies get good/decent
reviews she will have quite a narrative for getting a nomination
for at least ONE of them.

This year?!? Wow. That would be a whole lot of
campaigning/promotion. I’m surprised by Colette’s release date,
I figured it would be later in the year, but with all of these
movies I would hope she’ll have quite a decent shot at a
nomination.

I highly doubt that Official Secrets will come out this year, no
matter what they write. There are already quite a few release
dates for Fall 2018 movies and the slate is getting filled up
fast. Also, by the time they're done the movie, it'll likely be
May and they'd have to get through editing super-fast.
I think it's more realistic that this movie will be released
sometime next year. But I guess we'll see.

It's certainly not impossible for movies that film in the spring
to come out that same year though. It happens a lot actually.
Also, this kind of film might be able to finish shooting in a
month or so.

I'm not saying it's impossible. It could very well be that it
comes out at the end of this year. However, I'd rather it wait
until next year. She's filmed five movies somewhat closely
together and I have a feeling she may take another break, so I'd
rather at least have one of her movies come out in 2019 instead
have five movies in 2018. Plus, think about it this way, if she
misses out on awards consideration this year, then maybe she
could get it for this movie next year. That is of course,
assuming the movie is good.
This is why I'm really, really hoping that they'll not release
this movie until late 2019, so we can have a little bit of Keira
in 2019.
