       How to get students to mark at home?

       How can we increase the percentage of students making progress
       at home?
       1) Have a strong PO and explicitly state the need and
       expectation for home marking. Progress will be slow, as students
       will need to repeat the worksheets. We do not know how the kids
       are going at home and if they're ready to move on.
       2) Create a sticker system for the first four days. Put four
       stickers on the student folder, and only remove them when they
       are doing the correct home procedure- name/date/time, home
       marking, correcting, and bringing back the work in order
       3) relate home marking to Kumon Dollars or other incentive
       programmes.
       4) have a monthly or fortnightly homework marking blitz at
       check-in or after class or before class. Go through folders and
       message parents who are not marking or doing homework properly.
       5) keep the message about: Do you want your child to progress?
       Put it back on the parent that it is vital for Kumon to succeed
       and for their child to benefit from the programme.
