Hi Kap,
Thoughts on Motte? Jesse, Min, was asking about Bregman, he
wasn't available but I picked him and K Tucker but will need to
release them for the draft. We will have 4 picks. Need to cut a
few players. Not likely to land a prospect but have my eye on
Cervelli with 3rd pick. Cobb and Bundy most likely will go back
to the DL list when we start. Most likely will cut RP. :o

I like our team overall in a hXh daily league. We have depth to
cover most games for the season. we have 13 SP, Cobb back
mid-season, and 6 with minor league eligibility. 7 man bullpen.
Is there any max times to send someone down? Mix and match in
the OF. Arcia is out of options and Parra is still a free agent.
Hoping this will be a big year for Thompson, minor league
eligibility 122 AB, Zobrist can still play OF as well as 2B.
Zimmerman only 1b and DH, plays 1B when Bour plays a LHSP. We
have 1B covered for the year with Bour, Zimmerman and Marintez.
Looked at the schedules for matchups, have options when Was/Mia
play 16 times with Martinez covering the other off days.

with Cecchini and Barreto in the pipeline and 3 roster SS we
need to release/trade one of those guys. I will do a by the #'s
on Escoabr, Iglesias and Cosart this week. Work time! ;)

Cosart seems to be the guy out. Cin did offer him a contract. I
don't see any trade value for him although he is one of the guys
with a job at SS. He may be one if the guys we cut for our draft
picks.

By the #'s
Iglesias was 120/.300/347/370/717 sOPS+ 100 11 SB. Did much
better vs LHSP
32/.336/380/471/850 sOPS+ 137 vs RHSP
88/.286/333/330/663 sOPS+ 86
He hits 8th and 9th in the lineup.
Could be a nice platoon with Escobar.

By the #'s
A Escobar had an off year from his career #'s
148/.257/293/320/614 OPS+ 68
vs LHSP 53/.274/321/349/669 sOPS+ 88
vs RHSP 95/.247/278/305/583 sOPS+ 63
his sOPS+ career #'s are 99 and 100, 100 being avg
He hits 1st and 9th in the lineup. OBP is not good for a lead
off guy but he had 17sb
With both guys in the Central time zone most of the time, it
could be hard to get those SB having to pick between them.
Both appear to play better vs the LHSP, may be the way to go in
a platoon. ::)
