Chapman to the Evil Empire, we haven't talked bullpens yet! For
the most part we spend in the draft. Their values are set at
half the SP with the max #1 ranking going for 2.5m. Jackets
have some nice arms if anyone is interested.

Looks like a paradigm shift this year in the NL West with the
LHSP of the LAD.

Morning,
Did you see the stat on the CWS, they threw 116 LHP. I
looked at DH/1B, 11 players had 40 or > starts vs LHSP lead by
Fielder with 62.

Let's take a look at the first trade of the season.
At first you say Wow, but if you dig a little deeper you see the
strategy behind the move.
Abreu is 4.62m, he has Hosmer @ 400k and Fielder @ 750k
Vigilantes get JD Martinez and invest 9M in the OF paying him
Stanton and Braun
Dudes Get Abreu and Grichuk. Abreu matches up with Freeman at
1B/DH
Splits
Fielder 62/95 started 18g
Hosmer 54/99
A closer look at Abreu @4.62m
Spilts
Abreu 33/121 started 115g at 1B
Great vs RHSP 28 homers 918 ops
Not vs LHSP 2 homers 595 ops
Freeman avg vs LHSP but better than Abreu
Like Grichuk in the OF mix for the Dudes

Year Two
I see a paradigm shift with SP. The two teams that threw the
least LHSP saw the most LHSP. Vigilantes 44 and Dudes 42.Dudes
got better in Sept and won 8 of 10. Year two becomes a tit for
tat league, don't throw don't see them unless you are real bad
vs them. See the Vigilantes trading for a top 5 lefty or
drafting one in round 6. He has a strong lineup vs lefties.
Still see a good balance of 325-350 this year. Top 10 will most
likely get 28-30 starts. Year two is a retooling year vs a
rebuilding year with salary correction in the market years based
on talent. We just need to play better vs Zig Zag to prevent
another runaway.

I have made two trades:
Got Lester @321k, leaving room to invest in a 4th starter. He is
mid-pack or lower in the top 10. Not a lock for a 5 man
rotation, plan to use him thru the year in match-ups,may use
another pick-up lefty from time to time. Traded a good prospect
with a good upside in Matz. I played fair vs lefties 18-22 but
did poorly at 7-12 throwing pick-ups.
