Todays people in power may not speak very loudly but they can
use electronics amplifiers the Internet radio and television to
get their messages across to the people. The Russian designer
Petro Wodkins has taken up the thread with politicians and big
noise. He produces lifelike busts of two of the most
controversial politicians of the time who also act as
loudspeakers. Russias Vladimir Putin and North Koreas Kim Jongun
have been models for Wodkins bearded Sound of Power speakers .
They have had part of the politicians head cut off to make room
for a inch full tone speaker.
It gets increased bass via a reflex port on the back of the bust
and in the wooden base sits an additional watt Class D
amplifier to make music and speech clear distinct and loud.

       The political loudspeakers can work
both wirelessly via Bluetooth and with a cable. They can be
purchased individually or as a set. Petro Wodkins amuses himself
with a number of obvious puns in his marketing of the bearded
