Decorative Cabinets ate my cooking materials

So I crafted 4 decorative cabinets yesterday to place my camp
fires on and today when I logged in the cabinet that I had
placed all my cooking materials. (9 cooking pots, 5 grills, and
1 beaker) was only a wooden legged table top and I lost all the
cooking materials. Thought maybe I was raided but everything is
in-tact.

Checked your land claims? If so , I don't know what could have
caused it unless you placed them in just as a restart occurred.
You didn't mention that as I am sure you would, and no one else
has reported this. Please let me know if anything like this
happens again.

Land claim was fine and not right before a restart. I'll test it
again once I get more cooking supplies and get back to you. Just
a kick in the balls to lose them all. I'll just have to space
them out next time.

test it again pls by placing something non-valuable inside it to
see if we can duplicate it.
You remember the times involved where you logged, when you
placed them?
And could it be possible someone else took them/moved them;
i.e., have you asked your in-game friends?

Ok. I'll place a cooking pot since its easiest to replace in one
and just an empty can in another to see if the item matters. I
logged off about 10-15 minutes after placing them. I checked
every chest before creating the thread and my in-game friend
logged off right after me. It is also odd because the cabinet
was placed in a row of cabinets and was the only one that had
items in it and was altered in the row. I logged off at
approximately 2:30 or 3 am EST.

In a somewhat related matter - I have similar strange activities
in my supply crates.
there is no sign of forced entry in my storage room and I
haven't been online in a day but there are signs that my supply
crates have been looted ....
not really sure what to make of that... Is there a way for
someone to open my locked doors?

Looted as in searched and loot taken or looted as in searched
and not taken...
I ask cuz Gryphus and I have been noticing that our placed
garage storage and gun messiah creates don't show (Untouched)
nor do they seem to give the searching time bar even after a day
of not playing....

someone most likely has been in the area and looted them.
I'd also check land claims, cuz if someone got them, they could
break in and replace blocks as they leave so you never know.
I'll test this later but as this is the first time someone
reported this my guess is someone was in the area.
