       drawbridge bug ?

       last time i used a drawbridge ( last seed )it opened from the
       bottom was it changed to open from the top if so why i have to
       jump to get on it the pole was placed in front of it after  the
       bridge was installed so that isn't what caused this

       I think I remember hearing something about it also molding
       around the environment in front of it, so it may be that the
       other side that it is reaching needs to be lowered by one block.

       ok so i tore down the ramp on the other side and dug down 2
       blocks at where the bridge reaches and 1 block a few blocks in
       all directions and even removed the pole that was in front but
       under the bridge block and made a brand new bridge block

       it still does the same thing any ideas

       It is probably the direction it is facing. Last build I noticed
       that it extended differently one direction compared to the other
       three directions.

       i thought that might be a factor so i am going to when the shop
       starts working again try from the other way see what happens

       What is that wood lining outside of the concrete blocks?  Just
       wondering if, whatever that is, is causing it to snap to the
       next block notch.

       I can almost guarantee that what i said is the issue. I tested
       it for a while in 12.4. Looks to me, with the little bit I can
       see on your compass, that you have it facing east. That is the
       same direction that gave me trouble.
