Hey guys
Any idea why I lag, I get about 25fps and then it goes down to
6, then back up to 25. Not sure if there is something I can
adjust to keep it steady on 25. On my Mac I get 60fps and then
it goes down to 45 and up again. Its swinging like that the
whole time I play.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Turn all reflection related settings off?
Would need to know your settings/system specs to speculate
further.
I also get bad network lag in evenings due to Time Warner...

The Mac is
3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1024 MB
Ill post my pc info when I get home.
Everything is set on its lowest.
Could it maybe also be the network? as I run the game on wifi as
my router is downstairs and my pc upstairs

Mac's are very poorly optimized for this game. by brother plays
on a Mac and is always having issues.

Yeah. And if you want to see the difference, tryn a single
player game, and hit F8 for your in-game fps.
Then play on this server.
I go from 140+, 90 average to 20-30 on a server.

Also if there is a clump of trees planted within view distance
of your character that creates lag to. The leaves overlap each
other so many times which creates lag. I now plant them a few
blocks a part. Even tested this in my single player. Turn down
all settings and test from there. I haven't felt any lag after I
cut all my trees down.
