Trader's Point Town
DIR By: poppawolf

---------------------------------------------------------
Hello survivalists and welcome to Trader's Point!
Myself, caliman, brad and Musey have all been working very hard
getting the town in order and even though we are already in
business, we are now well enough along to make the official
announcement. We all make up Poppawolf & Sons Mercantile and
Trading Company, and we are located just north by northeast of
Ground Zero city.
We have been busting our asses, foritifying all the structures
in the town as well as surrounding it with a landclaimed
reinforced concrete wall with checkpoints at all four entryways.
It's a small town with a few houses, a few "trader buildings"
(the squarish brick and stone ones), one movie theater and about
a dozen or so garages. The entire town is considered the base
for the four of us, but we always welcome visitors, especially
those who come to trade.
The Tradin' Post is located inside, a prefab "trader" building
with a concrete wolf's head on one side. I can usually be found
there sorting through things, upgrading weapons as much as
possible, crafting ammunition and all sort of other good stuff.
Caliman and brad are the builders (and crafters, too) - thanks
to them one block is now "paved" in blue, we have a large
garden, a large forge room and all the "comforts of home". The
Tradin' Post, Cali's Fortress and Musey's Theatre (and future
PVP arena) are all connected by our sniper bridge. All in all we
feel we have a great set-up, fortified and secured so we can
bring you the products you need for survival (for a nominal fee,
of course) ;-)
But wait...there's more.
North of town, brad (the crazier builder of the two) is in the
process of constructing the Great Pyramid, which is a work in
progress of something much cooler on the inside when he gets it
finished. (stay tuned for details)
The middle block of our town is rather open with Musey's Theatre
in on corner, a medium sized barn and one trader building. This
is the area where we will be constructing a PVP arena. It will
be a contained facility that will have PVP events held inside,
and structured and positioned in such a way that there will be
no danger to any PVE'er in any way shape or form. Just a fun
place for a little good ol' fashioned PVP - imagine an enclosed
paintball arena, except deadlier. We hope to have inside and
outside areas, with strategically placed plantings and "crows
nest"s built in some of the high areas. We are discussing
planned events with prizes and/or prize packages worthy of
winning.
There is one small area that we may also make a small park, but
that is only if I can stop caliman from planting something there
first.
Okay, enough rambling - back to the Tradin' Post and what we
have to offer and what we are interested in:
Merchandise:
We offer all sorts of goods from guns to tools to building
materials - almost anything you need we more than likely have,
and if not - we can get it for you pretty damn quickly. As I
said before we have been busting our butts, and between the way
out scavenging trips caliman and I have been on, the constant
forging (hello spider zeds!) and constant mining, we have
amassed all sorts of resources, and can more than likely help
you out with any need you may have. Just give me a shout and we
can work out the details - and as always, I prefer to make the
deal on either Team Speak or Steam Chat, as it is just good
business to keep transactions private as much as possible.
Services:
I am capable at the moment of making flawless armor, 550 or
better, and am willing to share my skill with those who don't
necessarily want to wait to get to this point themselves before
getting good armor. If anyone so desires, if you provide the
iron and the leather, I will make this type of armor for you at
a charge of 30 Duke Casino Coins per piece. If you do not have
the necessary resources, I can provide those, but each piece
will cost 100 Duke Casino Coins.
Accepted Payment:
We are traders, of course, and are always looking for good and
rare items, and most transactions can be paid with the
following:
1. Most Purple Gun Pieces for Pistol, Shotgun, Hunting Rifle and
Magnum - I actually have quite a few of these in stock, and
there are only a few pieces that are low in my inventory. These
items will be negotiable, depending on the quality number of
each piece and how many I have/need in my inventory.
2. Green, Blue and Purple Sniper and SMG Pieces - These are more
high dollar items but again, touch base with me on these things
so we can discuss how much I am willing to give on these gun
pieces. I do have some pieces in stock, but again - which
particular piece you have and what quality is will depend on how
much I am willing to accept it for. In other words, I'm more
likely to haggle with you for these pieces than what are listed
above under 1.
3. Dukes Casion Coins - we usually accept these as payment, and
unless we get absolutely glutted with them, will continue to do
so. If this changes, we will let everyone know.
One final thing worth mentioning is the bridge over the river to
our biome has been redesigned by caliman and I am working on the
possiblity of getting a teleport station here. It would place
you just outside of the GZ wasteland in the plains biome that is
home to Trader's Point. I have constructed large letters
spelling out "FREE" out of reinforece wood at this bridge with
chests at the bottom that I intend to fill with loot and goods
for the taking or exchange. Clubs, clothes, leather, bottles,
arrows and the like. Even flawless clubs and/or leather armor -
probably nothing the established player would be interested in,
but for new player fresh out of GZ, it might be a nice place to
rummage through for some good "starter" gear and resources. I
hope to keep these stocked as best as possible.
Well, I guess that is about it for now. I do plan on adding to
this thread for time to time if and when thing change or need to
be updated, so by all means, stay tuned and see you at the Post.

I have done business with them and I must say their prices are
fair. Their establishment is very impressive. If I need anything
they our the first ones I go to for all my survival needs.

Customer testimonial! What better proof do you need that we have
what you need? ;D
(and we did not even have to pay him to say it!) ;)

At this point the Dukes Casino Coins are actually of more value
to us. If what is available with zcoins changes we may start
taking them - I will have to discuss this with the others and
see what they think.
Vote coins could be trickier. I will have to think about the
value and economy of those.
So in answer to your question - I probably will not be accepting
zcoins or vote coins at this time, but if this changes I will
let everyone know.

Can you post exact coordinates? It's a long hike through
zombie-infested wastes to get to the GZ area and back. I've got
better odds of reaching home intact if I know where I'm going
from the outset.

Yeah, h0tr0d has it right - I have just not been around much
lately. With it being so easy to get established in this build
(overabundance of POI and 7 day spawn) not much trading is
necessary. Maybe next build.
