Turn broken leg duration WAY down until collision is fixed.

I am spending most of my time on GZ with a splinted leg and it
is not fun at all. I might have perhaps legit broken my leg a
few times but this "glass legs syndrome" bug is rediculous.
Let's send a message to the developers that this needs to be
fixed for the game to be fun and turn it off or essentially make
it moot. We will still get damaged and perhaps die due to the
bug but we will not be walking around constantly with a splinted
leg.

For the record the timer has already been halved if you apply a
splint.
I do agree it is ridiculous and annoying though and needs to be
addressed. The solution would be better if I was better versed
with this stuff.
It isn't going to be one second guys.

Here is a video demonstration on how easy it is to break your
legs.

I don't think the leg break thing is a bug. Humans really don't
jump very well. Movie ninjas, maybe. An accountant trying to
survive a zombie apocalypse? Not so much. I mean, heck, the jump
you demonstrate in the video really could give you a nasty
sprain IRL. Sure, maybe the game designers are a little
overzealous, but it's not quite as far out as folks seem to
think.

Add into that the radiation, the lack of a proper food source,
unsure footing, improper rest and or exercise and you have a
perfect recipe for broken bones.....

That really depends on how the accountant manages their health
:) . And accountant would seem like the perfect disguise for
modern day ninja, just sayin'.
Anyways jokes aside, I understand that it's realistic to injure
your legs in this fashion but when I break my legs because I
walked over a rabbit trapped indoors, or destroying 1 of 2
objects I get trapped between, (like the windows on houses that
have metal siding over the front of the window and then boards
behind it) it is definitely a bug.
Also a note on realism, it takes minimum 2 months for a major
break to heal properly and completely not 3 days. In the case
of a break occuring at mid bone it often takes much more than a
splint to fix it, usually surgery in varying degrees of
intrusiveness is required. Permanent pins made of surgical
steel are often required in severe mid bone breaks as well. And
on top of this, you sure as hell aren't running anywhere while
you're leg is fucked.
This is a video game and I like to have fun playing my video
games. If I wanted to play real life I would go outside. So I
agree with BT, it is not fun to run around constantly with
broken legs.

yeah it works fine. My comment was directed at the game as a
whole and how the devs have introduced broken legs. The way it
works on this server is much better than that.

See and honestly before the mod I wasn't breaking my legs
abundantly. I think twice maybe...? Just enough to be a nuisance
but not a game changer.... so I would have to ask what are you
people doing that your legs have broke so much?
I mean granted I broke it once going down stairs...... but again
total only about twice. So I figured it was just an RNG thing
and my number was up.

It happens a lot more often if you travel a lot. As you're
running through the different biomes there are many areas that
are bugged that will cause you to break your leg without even
dropping a large distance. The game mechanics are definitely
broken when it comes to this. And it's not just running that
causes it. There are many weird ways that it can happen like
crawling around or squeezing in between narrow spaces can
sometimes cause leg breaks as well.
