Verification of loot respawn.

Ok on my carebear side, which I have been in since day 2, 3 to 5
at the latest, I have noticed that on day 47 none of the
containers have respawned.
The building is secure so the chance of another looting the
containers is probably nil.
anyone else notice anything similar?

There was a old trick to this.
Now i might be wrong on this, but i heard this works. Hopefully
i get it right.
If the container is empty, put a stick in it. I dont know why,
but supposedly this helps.
If the container still has an item. Pull it out. and close out
the window and re-open. There may be a chance more loot will
immediately respawn.
I dont know if that will truly help, but it doesnt hurt to try.

Tried it didnt work I did find though that a few containers I
left stuff in (looked but didnt loot) respawned when I took that
last item out.

We need to make sure this isn't an issue... I have yet to see
things respawn... Could it be the old "Zones" don't move forward
unless someone is in it? So a zone needs to have action in it
for 30 days worth of game time for the containers to respawn?

I have had containers respawn, but as BraizD said - something
has to be left inside of them.
Sarge, if you run around and put just one stick in all those
containers they will eventually respawn. This will not be
immediate, and you will have to wait some game days, but just go
back and check every day by taking the stick out and waiting a
few seconds. If the container does not change to
Search/Untouched mode then put the stick back and check the next
day. We all looted our town the first day we were here, and the
only containers (trash, coolers, gun safes, etc) that have
respawned is the stuff that had items left inside. If I take
those out now and wait a few seconds, the container label will
change from "Empty Rotting Trash" to "Search Rotting Trash
(Untouched)".
BraizD gave me the idea about the stick and so far it has
worked, but as I said - you have to check it every game day. It
is still annoying as hell, but it is one way you can get the
containers to respawn.
It's worth a shot, especially if you have a
bookstore/gunstore/toolstore/etc

That is correct. Unless there is a player in that chunk, it will
not advance.
