What now...

So I start out scavenging and after a long haul I finally find a
forge ahead book. At this point I decide to put down some roots.
In the last go I always welcomed pvp and never used stop signs
because I liked the extra challenge. So because of this I built
in the south. While trying to build I was killed by someone
passing by, expected and not a big deal. Then a different person
killed me, and then that person decided to camp my meager
establishment so I logged off. Then someone, I assume the
camper, raided my place, which I expected so most of my stuff
was on my person. So I decided to get my land claim and move
on... My land claim was missing... So I decided to move up north
since I now have no choice with no land claim. I go up north and
place a chest and sleeping bag, thinking I was safe In the
north. I Go chop some wood and I hear someone attacking my chest
so I shoot them with my bow and they run away. Irritated I
logged off so all my shit I am sure is gone now.
So what do I do now. Obviously I can't stay in the south with no
land claim and apparently in the north I need a land claim also.
Soooo.... What do I do now?

you ever see me online
I am currently building in the North (just barely).
After i gain enough mats, i will build my epic structure of FU
in the south. You are welcome to stay or move along on your
own.

Well.... the rules clearly state for the North:
1. No killing other players, period.
2. No raiding. This includes player controlled prefabs. If a
player takes over a prefab, it's theirs. This is an infinite
map, go find another. Finders keepers.
3. No griefing or stealing. If you find a dropped player pack,
you may loot it at your discretion.
I would send a PM to MM have him check the logs (server manager
is on) and see if a reminder can be sent. You should not have to
place a land claim in the North. The only 'lootable' player item
is a back pack.

I don't think it would hurt to put a land claim down though just
as a deterrent and to make it known that it is not abandoned. If
you are not sure who it was then please let me know the window
of time this happened and exactly what was taken so I can
investigate further.

As far as who raided my base I think I know who but no rules, to
my knowledge, were broken. Just makes life very hard now that I
don't have a land claim.
As far as who was trying to raid my chest In the north, I have
no idea but they didn't get anything. I shot them and they fled
but I never saw who it was.
I wasn't posting to complain... Well mostly not trying to
complain. Just trying to figure out how to continue now that my
land claim got jacked. Maybe a little venting also.

Madman,
with the extinction of Tungsten and the difficulty to acquire
tungsten trophies (i havent found any yet), could we perhaps do
a secondary or just replace the current recipe with something
different.
Perhaps using various gun parts, a little easier to come by, but
you would be giving up a valuable resource to make em.
Perhaps using 1 piece from every gun? If that isnt possible due
the quality of the parts, what about using various ingots with a
beaker in the middle.
I dont know, just throwing out ideas. Cause i am going to need
some land claims and the current recipe is.....well....kinda a
pain

Yes. I am still waiting for the recipe editor to be updated. As
soon as it is, I will start putting the custom recipes back in
and make adjustments to them as needed.
