Land Claim Issues

I am having an issue with my land claims. I have noticed that
when I place landclaims they are not covering what they should.
My base is 31 x 31 and at first I had one land claim in the
center and all was good. Once I got more land claims I placed
them on each corner, meaning that my landclaims now overlapped
and my whole base and more should be covers... but it wasn't, I
had gaps that I had to fill with more landclaims. Any ideas?
Sure i can fill in the gaps but now I have no more land
claims...

Should be 30x30.
15 in each direction.

I thought it was 15 in each direction, not counting the block.
So if I put a land claim down its 31 x 31.
No?

It should be, but I'm not sure why parts of your base would have
gaps. Makes no sense, since a land claim has an infinite
vertical protection as well.

If you do a test run with explosives sometimes you will find
that the land claim blocks protect a section 15 long and 5 wide.
It's a glitch I've noticed in the past. The easiest way to
test of course is to have a non-friend come and chip on your
terrain with a hammer. When the piece is protected it will
ding.
At the start of this map I had a land claim block that would
turn against me. When *I* placed it, it would protect any
blocks that I had already placed, but it would protect them from
myself (I couldn't take out any blocks that I had placed
myself). Was really annoying. That cursed land claim block was
stolen by a greifer who has since been Ban Hammered. None of my
new blocks have done this, but there are still some glitches in
the system.

Land claim is 31 x 31. Land claim block in the middle, 15 out
each direction. makes for 31x31.
Yes there is a bug where there will be missing coverage when you
place additional land claims.
Again it's 31 x 31. You count 15 in, the land claim block, add
15 more the other way.
Arithmetic ftw.
