Capture the Frag

So, I'm not totally sure how CTF works on 7D and additionally on
this server, but I've played enough FPS to have a good idea.
While reading the forums I noticed a LOT of discussion on how
CTF should work, how bases should be built/etc. These threads
have all gone on rabbit chases into other topics, so I am
starting a new one with my ideas up top, for everyone to
read/discuss.
My Ideas:
There should only be a set amount of resources used:
(something like)
10 Doors
500 Blocks
20 windows
etc
All flag rooms must be built identical:
Flag 2 blocks away from a window in each direction
Flag must be at the top of the base
etc
The flag room can be surrounded with:
Whatever build the factions would like to use, providing they
don't exceed the amount used
Whatever traps the players can fabricate in their space
OR
We just have Madman build us a CTF arena, Bring your own Land
Claim.
Thoughts?

I always liked what was done in the past. There was a prefab
Hospital/Institute that was dropped into the build (Diersville
map) and it was more or less a death match.
A CTF should be the same way. Some sort of prefab or area that
can be used. Have a non player place a flag and have 2 or more
teams go at it. Have it as a weekly even and after X amount of
weeks have the winning team get something.
The only issue with CTF or any organized event like this is
wellness. While my team may have capped the flag more times we
may have been killed more times which effects our overall
wellness. Im sure when "deaths" only affected your score and not
your overall health it was no big deal.
Issues abound with base CTF also. While its nice to build an
impregnable fortress if no one is there to defend it all you
need is time.
Again the issue is the game (not) being able to support
something like this. If there were a way to 'flag' players
during an event where they don't lose wellness it would be
great. If there were a way for people to coordinate a
defend/attack (you attack me this week while I defend and next
week we swap roles no repairing for the defending team) system
where most are on at the same time would be neat.
PvP in other games are pretty straight forward and are built in
either by making it possible in the game itself or special
maps/zones.
This is I believe considered an MMO so it is difficult to
incorporate PvP aspects such as this into it if it is not
already there. Im not saying it wont come or there are no way of
doing it however as it stands PvP wise the game itself is pretty
lacking. Add wellness into the mix and people will/may try to
avoid a regular PvP thing.
Dont read to much into this..... ;) Im mostly stating fact not
opinion. Create a viable, rewarding, entertaining PvP system and
Im in. I just cant see that with regards to the game in the
state it is now.

I say put a couple flags out there and see what happens. It's
been debated enough to warrant field tests.
