       Haha cm...love it!
       Also don't forget hornets provide honey which is a source of
       food at least last time I drank honey.
       Also unlooted coolers is a good place to fins food.

       One major item you folks may want to consider.  I don't know if
       you all know this, but when the forge book was added as a
       gateway to the forge, they helped us out by adding cooking
       without steel.  You can now cook meat and boil water with just a
       campfire and a stick.  Use the stick like a pot and it will get
       you charred meat.  Take an empty tin can, fill it with water and
       you can boil it to good water with the same stick on a campfire
       just like meat.  This is what kept me alive the first week of
       the game.
