How the hell are ya!!

Hey everyone looking forward to seeing you all on the server. im
a little new to the game i have a about 50 hours into it so im
not a total noob. i was getting tired of hackers on other
servers and playing solo. I was playing Rust before this and
thats one of the reasons i got this game. So im glad to see a
server like this on 7 Days, it gives me hope. haha.
anyways im interested in joining a faction but im having trouble
finding anything about it on the forum. i may just be blind. i
just dont really want to solo it this time around. i carry my
own weight try to be as active as i can. unfortunately i have
real life things to do during most of the day. so if anyone
could point me in the right direction. thanks see you guys
around!

Mostly you just have to read around, the only 'real' differences
are:
R.I.P. roleplays alot...as a Big Brother type of agency. We
don't overdo it, and mainly it is about making the community as
a whole feel engaged down to every individual. You can read the
RIP community bulletins to get an idea.
ERA - Pitchburn, Batikus and Clara, formed a faction, good
people who build and casually pvp. Carl may be part of

OF is a gaming clan not exclusive to 7 days to die, so to join
them youd hafta ask them. Mostly older folks, with mix of
styles.
GEEK is new, and Niknaks, Neimad, Fourseasons and I forget who
else comprise the British folks, new here, seem industrious and
very pleasant.
DOA comprises of Madman (admin) and friends, mostly fun group
with the most limited play time I'd say. But they pvp, and build
like others. main difference is they play more infrequently I
would say.
If you play nights I would say mostly I have seen RIP, ERA
online late. OF also, but again they're a gaming clan called Old
Farts and you have to speak with them. I'm sure every group
could use your help, it just depends how involved you wanna be!

Hi Redbeard, welcome aboard. There are a lot of us tried Rust
and didn't like the griefing style of multiplayer and wanted
something a bit more building / exploring / group play oriented
than just caveman style survival and repetitive killing as seems
to be the focus in Rust. I'm very glad I chose 7DTD over Rust
and I think you will be too.
"Ground Zero" btw - is the main city near where you spawn on the
map (at 0,0 coordinates). It's open PvP and so be aware of that
if you decide to build there. Many of the 'teams' are building
in the vicinity (within 5k) of GZ so it's the hot zone for the
CTF activities. Build outside of that if you're looking to steer
clear of PvP while you get the hang of things and build a
starter base.
