I think I met a few people last night, and thanks to everyone
who helped out with some supplies or answers to questions for
Clara and me. It was very much appreciated. Us two, and
hopefully soon a few others, are making the move to this server
after playing on our own private server for a bit to see how
things go on a bigger server and we're really enjoying it so
far. We're friendly, so don't be afraid to ask us for help if
needed!

Welcome to the community! While small in numbers, I will say
that it's a very tight knit bunch of players who have gotten to
know one another over the past 6 months or so that I've been
playing off and on. Lots of folks are spread out around the map
but starting to converge back on Ground Zero again for some
great reindeer games Madman and Hotrod have cooked up - be sure
to weigh-in on that discussion as we need more teams for the CTF
(Capture the Flag) project.
Everyone is very laid-back for the most part and while PvP does
happen, it's not constant asshat style like you may have
experienced in DayZ or Rust if you played either of those and
that's what sets this server and the game itself apart IMO.
Seems players are bit more geared towards building and
socializing and less about just random killing which frankly
gets very old quickly.
I'm not a heavy PvP oriented player myself and while I've been
shot by a couple of the Old Farts (haha) once or twice while
running for a supply crate, I have managed to remain
neutral/peaceful with most folks. I welcome new friends and am
glad you've joined.
