I wonder if they merely missed it. Was your roof by any chance
glass or capable of someone falling into?

nope, the roof is currently almost 20 blocks up, they walked by
and pulled out from the wall directly behind a stop sign.

Madman, is there a way to make a "MOTD" when players log onto
the server? There's been some new players lately who are not on
the forum (or not using the same name ingame) and with Fatt's
problems - it seems we have someone rogue out there disobeying
the stop-sign rule and obviously not here on the forums to see
the warnings either.

I'm not sure about the MOTD. Now that I am finally back in town
I can start to get some of these issues addressed. I think I am
going to make it mandatory that all players are registered with
the forums though. If you want to play here you need to have an
active participation in our community.

I would think the 'active participation' that is meant, is
simply being registered at the forum. We certainly cannot force
people to post on the forum. BUT.....if it is a requirement to
be registered and they are notified that this is where
everything and anything to do with the server comes about - then
they have no excuse down the road when they don't like
something, break a rule, starve to death.......etc.

Yup even that little bit of participation would be great.
Previous games Ive been in had people stating dont have the time
to browse the forums and get my 20 hours a day game time in.....
;)
I mean even when it was asked in game to visit the forums and
vote/give your opinion on something or even read the rules......

Yeah, I am not expecting everyone to post. Just a way to know in
real time what is happening with our server. I shouldn't have to
hunt every player down when there is a problem or a change.

double bah!
You shouldn't have to hunt down anyone. If you didn't read up
on occasion, and didn't find out about server wipes, or rules,
it shouldn't come as a surprise when your booted. You do
enough for us already then to have to play parent.
