A18 b155 Is Now Out...And It Requires a Wipe!

The new experimental, A18 b155, has just been released.
Unfortunately, more changes have been made to RWG, which means
we have to wipe the server. As most of you know, this process
is very time-consuming and tedious, but Madman and the rest of
the admin team will be working hard to get a new seed up as soon
as possible.
To answer a few questions you might have:

[li]You will not be able to keep your character levels or items.
As with every wipe, characters will be wiped, as well.[/li]
[li]Madman does not reuse map seeds, so the map will
change.[/li]
[li]You will keep your GZ Bucks, as we only wipe those between
Alpha updates (i.e., A18 to A19).[/li]
[li]There is no live map for players, but Madman will provide a
general map of biome locations.[/li]
[li]There will be double XP bonus when the server starts, and
Madman occasionally does bonus XP weekends. He will announce
those in advance.[/li]

Any chance of bumping up the difficulty? Zeds are way to easy
right now and since most dont pvp not a lot of challenge after
level 20 or so. Just a thought. Thanks!

People were complaining about the difficulty, so no, zombies
will not be made more difficult at this time.

As always, gratefully defer to the choices of the admins, but I
would also add my vote to the request to bump up the difficulty.
Rushing to end-game invincibility isn't fun (in my opinion).
Thanks for working on the wipe for us!

Per Madman: "The thing is, we don't even know what the
difficulty is going to be like after this patch. We should wait
and see what it's like before upping or decreasing difficulty.
That setting can be changed on the fly mid-game if that is what
the players desire."

Personally I am neutral on difficulty increases and opposed to
bag drop. However, as always I fully support any action by
Madman as owner of the server and his Server Admins. Just my
two cents worth.
