Should We Start a New Map Before the Weekend?

Hello everyone. I'll make this short and sweet. Our current
map blows. The Fun Pimps ruined random gen for A17.1. We are
43 days into the current seed and I've already seen a dramatic
decrease in server population lately. A17.2 is supposed to have
improvements to random gen but even the experimental version has
yet to be released and according to one of their staff, it
doesn't seem to be immediately on the horizon.

I have done some heavy modification the random gen mixer and now
have the capability of creating a MUCH better map than what we
are currently using. Take a look below. The first image is our
current map, the second image is what it will look like if we
start a new map with my changes.

So here is what must be considered if we wipe now and start a
new seed with my modified map:
Pros
1. New and better map
2. More population again
3. A fresh start
4. I have made our new Lobby and Market a prefab so it will be
on our new map right from the start (It will be empty)
5. More Traders
6. More high rise buildings
Cons
1. Have to start over
2. Anyone with a market stall will have to begin from scratch
again
3. Since we don't know when A17.2 will be released, there is
always the possibility that it COULD be soon and we don't know
if that will require a wipe. It's a risk, even if it doesn't
look now like it will be soon
I'm sure there are some points I've missed but you get the idea.
Anyway, think about it and make your choice. Feel free to add
your comments below. [emoji4]

Second map is better but lacking in water. Wasteland land mines
suck. Moar Carls Corn and Bob's Boars plz?

There is no less water than our current map. In fact, there is
actually more but the individual sources are very small. I was
not able to figure out how to increase their size. I'm going to
continue to play around with it and see if I can make them
larger but I've had no luck as of yet.

I vote yes. I play on a few servers and this is honestly the
best map so far (the current one) so that tells you how sad
random gen is lol. I am for map tweaking and better traders any
day. ;D

Everthought about a Darkness Falls Server ? Tried it and its way
better. Skilling by doing like we used to and not by only by
spending points in a menu.
Guess im not back to vanilla soon....

It would be selfish of me to disagree with a new wipe. I have
spent the last week+ trying to demolish a mountain. To start all
over would really suck. But if it happens, it happens. Leveling
up again should prove interesting.

I have learned a great deal from playing this seed to the point
we are now. The next go-round should be even better in terms of
not dying so frequently which is not the whole point but a good
one. I would build differently as welll. Let's do it.
