The Market is Open for Business!
By: Jaspymon Date: January 21, 2019, 12:48 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The Market at The Square is now open and ready for players!
The Square is located at 650 North, 400 West - Updated 2/15/2019
There are two-story stalls connected behind The Lobby and
one-story stalls across the parking lot. They are first come,
first serve and cost nothing to the player. The chest in each
stall will contain one free vending machine, which MUST be used
in the stall it is assigned to and cannot be moved from that
stall. Decorating the interior of the stall is allowed and
encouraged up to, and including, the painting of the "frame"
around the door front. Below are a list of rules regarding your
stall ownership.
Stall Ownership Rules:
1.) One stall per person, no exceptions. You are
welcome to share a stall with friends, or to connect adjoining
stalls with a doorway. Doorways between stalls must be approved
by both stall owners.
2.) Do not do anything to jeopardize the structural
integrity of the structure.
3.) Do not destroy any lighting already installed in or
on The Market. These are "POI" lights. Once destroyed, they
cannot be fixed or replaced.
4.) Do not attempt to connect any personal electrical
lighting to the lighting already install in The Market. As
these are "POI" lights, they are not connected to electricity.
You are welcome to use candles and/or torches to add additional
light your stall.
5.) You are permitted to sell your goods at whatever
price you set.
6.) You are not permitted to put bedrolls or land claim
blocks in or around The Market, and you may not live in your
stall. This is meant to be a shopping center only, not a
residence.
7.) Admins reserve the right to evict you from your
stall after a period of inactivity. There are a limited number
of stalls and if you don't use it, you lose it.
8.) Admins will settle any disputes between stall owners
and/or customers.
If you break these rules, the rules of the server, or grief The
Market in any way, you could potentially lose your stall and the
goods and decorations contained within, as well as face a
possible server ban for extreme behavior. If you have any
questions or concerns, feel free to address those here, or to an
Admin directly.
[b]If you would like to reserve your stall, please contact an
Admin today! :D

Yesterday when I attempted touring the market, I noticed when
walking down the stairs connecting shops within the stalls, that
the overhang was one block too low. Not sure if this is
intentional or an oversight. Also, by decorating does this
include furnishings?

It seems that the only staircase that was in the model stall,
which has now been fixed. Decorating means any kind of paint,
furnishings, and decorations you would like. Madman will be
adding furnishings to the Zennies store very soon.

Just want to quickly say that it's great to see GZ still bangin'
away and it feels good to be certain that GZ will be there when
I return in April / May of this year. Wish it could be sooner.
