POSSIBLE Server Wipe Coming Soon!

Hey everyone. Now that I have your attention, let me explain.
Since A17 was first released, I have been in communication with
our host provider (Blue Fang Solutions). As many of you know,
we are currently using the Navezgane map because we have been
unable to use anything larger. None of the hosts are allowing
larger maps because A17 is so much more demanding on the server
machines. They aren't even letting us use the new, larger
Navezgane map.
After much back and forth with the host, they have decided to
push a little harder for Ground Zero. Primarily because we are
the longest running server of 7 Days to Die in the world and
their longest paying 7dtd server customer. The final details
are being worked out as we speak but I feel fairly confident in
saying that we are likely going to be able to run a larger map.
This means that if this happens, we will have to wipe the
server. In all likelihood, we will be able to go back to a
random gen map with a larger central hub city again.
The biggest issue at this point is this:
When and if our host is able to approve an upgrade for our
server to a have a larger map, it will happen within minutes of
that approval. This means there is a very likely possibility
that the server will be wiped very soon and with very, very
little notice. I know this will seem like a sting to some of
you but this map is much too small to support all of us and if
we are able to do something like this, something that none of
the other servers are able to do right now, we need to take
advantage of it. We will all be much happier in the end.
Also, keep in mind that not only is this game still in alpha,
this is an experimental version. None of us should be expecting
anything to last a long time until the stable version is
released.
Thanks for your understanding and patience. Remember, I am
doing all of this to benefit you, the players. Wish me luck in
making all of this happen and I will do my best to keep you
informed as quickly as possible.
I know most people don't like having to start over but this is a
good thing if we can make it happen. We need a larger map!

Let me be clear...I don't know when this will happen yet. It
may be sometime tomorrow, it may be within the hour. I just
don't know. But, I will let all of you know as soon as I do.

I am really **appreciative** of the chance to try out A17
socially on a server.
I consider this all a learning experience. In that sense, I lose
nothing if the server is wiped.

Was just wondering, whats your thoughts on boosting exp gains
while the game is in experimental? There will most likely be
several resets before we go stables, and would be nice to be
able to test some of the mid-late game changes before resets
happen.
