Greetings!
My cousin invited me to play 7D2D with him. I'm 38 and have
been gaming for a while. I played WoW for six years and was a
raid leader and GM for a few years. I have played Minecraft for
a while now with my 5 year old son and my cousin said 7D2D is
similar. I like what I see so far!
I am a sr. software engineer and live in the greater Seattle WA
area. I am also a power engineer currently serving as chair on
the Seattle Chapter of the IEEE Power & Energy Society. I have a
spouse and two kids (ages 5 and 2).
I stopped playing WoW 5 years ago when my first son was born and
have pretty much not played any MMOs or online games since. But
my cousin plays similar hours to my only free time - 10pm-2am
PST - so it's pretty cool so far.
I likely lack the time to do anything super cool in the game but
I appreciate the opportunity to participate. I am pretty
industrious if I get into a game and all the crafting and such
looks promising. Depending on how things go, I might be
interested to learn some of the admin side of things.

Welcome! I was a long time WoW player also. This game is now one
of my favorites. Much easier to pop in and out as my free time
allows. This server is the best I've ever been on. Hope you'll
enjoy it too! :)
