New Seed Starting Now - Old Seed Corrupt

Hey guys. I'm sorry to say that after the last restart, the
server had non-stop errors and had become too corrupt to
salvage. I spent over an hour trying to fix it but to no avail.
I have had no choice but to start a new seed.
If any of you want to have access to your builds, I was able to
save the region files on my computer. I will be uploading those
files onto my google drive tomorrow. I can share a link to those
files and explain to you how to recreate the old seed on your
own single player so that you may take picture/video or do
whatever you please with it.
Since I am starting a new seed, I think it's the perfect time to
implement at least one of the new rules we previously talked
about. The South (PvP) is now a no-mans land. There is only one
rule. Do not do more damage than necessary to raid another
player's base.
Also, land claim blocks no longer have infinite durability. They
are set at 300x protection. This should have no impact in the
North as it is PvE anyway.
I know starting a new seed is not ideal for everyone, but please
keep in mind that we did not have a server wipe in over 126
days! That is the longest running seed we have ever had. My
personal opinion is it was too old and developed too many
corruptions. It was becoming more and more unstable and we were
dealing with more and more problems. I am personally relieved to
be starting anew and hope things will run better now.

I am stuck in some kind of chunk error. I was driving on the
minibike when i got stuck. Tried to relog but I cannot get back
in. Just sits at the loading screen. Tks

I messaged Hotrod and Madman about it... I am having the same
problem....
Fell through the world then froze. Relogged and am stuck on the
game starting screen.

Sorry to hear the seed got corrupted! Fresh starts are fun,
though! :D
Do you still have plans to reset the seed for A17?

I just restarted the server. Let me know if you continue to have
problems.

Was a good long run. The server is operating super, even with
the number of players logging in on a regular basis. Pretty
much had population right up to the reset too. Ground Zero has
come a long ways. Thumbs up Madman.

Madman, Out of curiosity, how do you pick your next seed? Do you
preview it and look for things or just go with whatever tickles
your fancy at the time?
