Title speaks for itself. I had a land claim yesterday and now it
is gone.
This is the place I was fighting (Player names removed by admin)
today, my turrets ammo and batteries from generators gone.
I logged to allow them to retrieve their stuff and I log on to
this.

Woah, thats kinda shitty. I think if you haven't logged in
awhile the claim duration starts to weaken until nothing but you
log in alot. I hope someone is not cheating cause they could go
into any base if thats the case.

Let me be clear I am not upset and asking for bans and this is
not sour grapes.
They were snooping in my base somehow the door was down. I
didn't know this till I went upstairs to get a crate which was
in my base and it disappeared from compass.
I then engaged them, they engaged me and after I killed them a
few times and I saw that they kept coming back I didn't feel
like killing them over and over and knocking their wellness to
minimum.
So I announced I was logging (and logged) to allow them time to
retrieve items and withdraw.
They then proceeded to do this.
I was not taken by surprise or did not get fooled; I simply did
not build defenses for this because it is disallowed on the
server. I could easily have prevented it so I am not whining
about it.
I want them to be made aware that I am not mad, but if this is
how they are used to doing things next time I will kill them
repeatedly and loot their bags.
Heck I even saved one from zombies when all he had was a bow

Thanks for keeping your cool.
Warnings have been issued. In order to draw better attention, I
have added red text to the rules pertaining to this situation.

Honestly I expected alot less of a Care bear style take on this
server. White listing is usually a good sign for a PvP server
but this time it seems useless there is zero raiding with claim
blocks that I find are apparently easy to come by as hotrod had
nearly 10 including the one the zombies smashed poorly hidden at
ground level.
I'll take you on a journey today. Using your gimme system not in
the rules as any form of exploit for destroying bases we
summoned a wolf after countless deaths we got the wolf to break
the door. Mr rod came then to stop us that is fine. He did not
save anyone the BTW wielding man was me drawing a cop to assault
the inside.
Realizing this to be a show tactic I began Using fully attended
forges not left alone a moment while they burned we summoned
screamers and continued the zombie raid still the only way I can
imagine you could raid anyone under the cover of Care bear PvP
rules. Some would see what we did as overkill but in fact as Mr
rod can tell you his upper base is a fake leading to a single
turret inside a massive bunker a maze like construct that is
again neigh impossible to penetrate given the care bear style
PvP rules.
Now after all that we then find a cavern of sorts with traps and
turrets all littered in claims but we did not give up. seeing
that we indeed had not even touched his real base we again fired
up the gimme system and forges planning another assault. We
eventually had to stop realizing that ultimately we would have
to destroy numerous claim blocks to even begin to loot this
monster base.
(I'll add a side note here that players joining the server
should be warned that even if you breach a house using the few
legal means you can not even loot due to the care bear style
rules for claim blocks.)
In the end you are out 3 engines and 1400 ammo some wood dirt
and concrete. As well as exposure of a few mechanics that were
not thought of I feel. I believe you are miss labeling your
server it is half Pve and half pve with friendly fire on.

While I have always welcomed suggestions and constructive
criticism on my server, I take issue with your blanket labeling
of "Carebear PvP" and your assertion that it is not real PvP. It
is clearly PvP since killing other players is permitted with
virtually no restrictions. Just because raiding is not a focused
aspect of our PvP area, does not of itself make it PvE as you
suggest. The current raid restrictions are direct result of the
the game developers breaking the online/offline modifiers for
land claims. It's not a perfect system and it has been decided
that we will take a new approach to this on the next seed once
A17 drops.

The reason for the rule is to prevent unnecessary damage. I
could easily handle your tactic and kill you nonstop but I
elected to not do that as per the nature of the server.
People come here calling it carebear is ignorant;e the rules are
in place to protect you. Unnecessary damage is uncool and your
argument is flawed. You can't claim you did more damage,
significantly more, than was necessary and then claim that using
the gimme system which is legal can be used for illegal means
and exonerate you.
You're right it seems to be the only way to raid with the
current ruleset but the real issue lies with TFP not fixing the
offline/online land claim modifier. That prevents a system where
raiding can occur in a PvP setting but not offline raiding.
Please read my comments how I merely asked you be made aware of
the rules and that I wasn't mad, just annoyed.
We aren't looking for people to come here for a week, wipe out
bases, and be gone. We want longevity. If you want an exemption
for rules than ask and see if anyone takes you up on those
terms. We would love for TFP to fix the offline modifiers so we
could have an online modifier difft from offline modifiers but
the gist is people want PvP not "be raided when offline".
I find that those who want to raid offline aren't really looking
for PvP, and while this may not be true of you, every group or
player that has come here quoting hardcore PvP rules or history
has been sent packing after our faction finds and eradicates
them.
This has held true for 4 years.
I'd rather they stay and PvP but they get a taste of what they
preach and discover that they should have been careful of what
they wish for.

Alright first I actually said I believe we did no where near
enough damage considering the tiny portion of your base we even
touched but that is probably more of a personal scale cause I
score your base and found that we had harmed none of it your
pictures do not explain the underground complex that we saw and
explored. so no we did not do excessive damage as it was
required to breach.
Second the gimme is something your server has that you can
regulate but is not named in the rules as illegal to use to
Summon zombies to break things. You mentioned forges and them
being abused but your rules state unattended we never left so
they were never un attended during the course of the raid.
Three we did not take advantage of you logging out we were going
to continue raising with you there and you left just hate that
you made us out as cowards when we weren't.
Now as for the last bit I still believe you are using Care bear
rules to protect and find it funny that you admit here that
anyone opposing your choices you gang up on and yeah a lesson.
Sounds an awful lot like you don't like criticism.
Last thing is a suggestion why not force players when online to
remove their claim blocks and store them away safely that way
when you log of your protected but while online you are raidable
send like a solution to yours almost year long wait for the
developed to change. Oh and limit the per person claim block
allowance wer would have dealt far less damage if the claim
block we seek and destroyed had not been 1 out of a dozen crazy
really.
