What are your 9.0 / RGW Plans?

I'm curious what everyone's plans are with the upcoming new
build and RGW map - so here's a little survey:
1. Do you intend to build a base near "Ground Zero" (Central
Town / Spawn Area) or far away, or somewhere in between?
2. Are you going to group up with others or go lone wolf?
3. Nomad or Homesteader?
4. PvP focused or Builder / PvE?
I haven't played MP since June so I'm pretty excited to try out
the new map once the update goes live. It's a brand new game
with a lot of potential for different playstyle from the
previous, static "Navezgane County" map we had before.
Personally I want to explore / scavenge for awhile before
putting down roots, so I will likely be nomadic at first and
then find a cozy place to dig my little wolf den. Somewhere
centrally located for trading and such. I teamed up with Madman
and his crew for a large base and would like to do so again but
will wait and see how the server map shakes out and where we all
land once the dice rolls!
If I get really interested again, my long term goal is a trading
hub that has a Fallout 3 Megaton feel to it.
What's your plan?

My plan is always Grimtown - a collective of rag-tag vagabonds
who put their sword arms and pickaxes to the service of their
community. Thus we become stronger that the simple sum of our
individual parts.
It will be somewhere that looks cool, but still fulfills our
prerequisites. Not too close, but not too far away. Without
knowing the map it will be impossible to say.

Right - I don't expect exact locations from people with this -
just a general survey as I'm curious how many people will be
nearby GZ and how many are going to take off into the wastelands
for distant parts unknown. Obviously the idea of MP is that you
want to be somewhat near other players for one reason or
another. ;)

Hrmm Good question and at the moment:
1) Away from Ground Zero and into the wasteland, at the moment I
am think a few days worth of travel just cause.
2) Lone wolf with a couple of friendly allies though I don't
know what they will be doing.
3) Don't know - Nomad at first but it depends largely on the
mood that strikes me. Perhaps I might take over a city...my
city! Enter if you dare! xD
4) PvP...pretty sure that's a given at this point.

Yep, your plan sounds pretty similar to mine at first except #4,
I'm more Community/Builder focused than pure PvP. I PvP as part
of the community with motivated reasons if that makes sense.
I think all of us are curious to see what this random map is
going to be like and exploration is going to be the main focus
along with the basic gathering / scavenging necessary to get
started.
I am guessing it will take a bit of time for the dust to settle
and see where everyone lands and bases start cropping up.

I am loving the new screenshots posted on the Dev Diary - shows
some new variety including those cool cliffs on the side of a
river / lake which begs for a cliff-side mine-shaft or
underground base entrance!
Just thought I'd stick that in this survey to get people's
creativity gears turning...
