       A full contact club?

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested a "full contact
       club"?
This is for those of us who really are in for the no holds
barred PvP. Granted you have to operate with some discretion
for those who are not participating in that much PvP.
IE for example I'm good with loosing my backpack...if you trail
me and snipe me..well good for you! Find my base? Stealing my
stuff...if I can do it to you, you can do it to me? (Just
wrecking someones stuff seems a bit ash hatery to myself, so you
will never catch me doing it, but hey if I left it unlocked,
       well I guess it's yours!)
       Anyone?

Going to have to describe it more. Not sure what you are
       asking.

Probably as a result of my old former DJ days, I first pictured
this in my head upon reading "full contact club", lol.

This is more of a no holds barred type of conduct in regards to
each other. The biggest being the backpack rule, and sniping
       conduct.
So people who choose to engage in this might have a different
       code of conduct between themselves:
       1) Back pack is lootable (yeah you could get KOSed, for your
       gear)
       2) You open yourself up to a full base raid. Anytime,
anyplace, anything they might be able to carry off
       3) Someone might choose to pick you off at anytime, without
discretion. The onus of distinguishing who is part of the full
contact club and who is not is up to the shooter.
I'm interested in truly recapturing the need to sleep with one
eye open, or that constant nervousness that has been missing in
my 7DTD games. Those of who us sign on, we know are truly
interested in participating in the PvP experience.
So CMan if you sniped me and took my stuff you know that I was
in for everything so there won't be any issue of stepping on my
toes. After all there is no fair, or unfair, there is only
       survival.
       Does that explain it better?

"Fight Club" could be something someone builds (Arena) - and I
think Cookie had that idea too in the PvP discussion.
As for a separate set of rules between those of you who want
different rules, why not just declare war on one another and use
the war declaration forum to set up your rules of engagement?
That way others have a good idea of what's going on so that when
they see you out running around shooting one another, they don't
misunderstand or get caught in crossfire?

If they had an option to put a name over a person's head when
you had a crosshair on them I would totally agree, but I have no
way of knowing if it's a person in the NHB Club until I've
       already capped them.
However, Lupa is right. The basic war parameters could outline
any engagement principles we deem useful to the fun of the
moment. For instance, open warfare might mean that stop signs
are no longer applicable, etc. It should be noted that these
are voluntary considerations and subject only to the warring
parties, but they can at any time open up potential for whatever
we want in regards to temporary rule changes (provided the
       neutrality of others is recognized).
In that sense you could call your own group or collective the
No-Holds-Barred Club and initiate war protocol through that
name. Post a declared war thread in the war room, and go from
       there.
Grimtown is always looking for a good war, so Cookie gives his
       thumbs up approval.

Let me try to explain my mentality:
I'm really not interested in rules of the game. I'll follow
them, because that is what the community has decided, and I like
the people cause they do act like adults. That's why I hang
       around.
However I don't honestly see the point in all the rules. Just
cause you play PvP it doesn't mean you have to be an jerk.
(spawn camping, hunting the same person down repeatedly,
destroying a base just cause you can, etc.)
As it is right now, I fully expect the first time I decide
decide to pop someone to see in text chat "Dude, why the F-uck
did you do that?!? what the hell?!?!" This is my attempt to
circumvent that. So instead of negotiating "set of terms of
conflict" with each and every person, I have a list of players
that are thinking the same way I am. In a sense it is a
negotiation ahead of time of terms. Which is largely...no
terms. Instead I'd like to see in chat after I pop someone who
is really playing PvP, "wow, didn't see that coming you got me
       good. xD"
It is my sense that while folks are interested in shooting at
one another they aren't really prepared to risk anything.
As to someone coming to the aid of someone under my cross hairs,
if you shoot at me I'm going to shoot back. I think that just
       makes sense.
An Arena can be fun, but it doesn't capture the paranoia of
being out in the world and trying to scavenge and really having
       to watch your back.
So this was my attempt to gauge and see if there is any interest
in this for some of us.

If you are out in the world and not in a "protected base" or the
central city then you are free to "pop someone". If they are not
able to deal with that maturely then they are free to leave the
server. I agree that there needs to be that element of fear and
nervousness when traveling about. It was NEVER my intention to
create a PVE server. Just a server with PVP that could be kept
from turning into a Rust clone. Let me be clear on this and
repeat, this is not a PVE server. I am happy to help keep some
order and community spirit with the rules we have in place but
there needs to be risk. If you don't want to fight you can
button up your base area nice and tight and put your stop signs
up and we will respect that and welcome you as a fellow player
but if you are out and about there is a chance you will have to
       engage in PVP to survive.

       Nice strip club. :D
This is what I am hoping for. It's just while we were hashing
out the rules I noticed plenty of "yeah...but if I'm coming back
with supplies I don't think you should be able to shoot me."
type comments. This was just my attempt to get a better bead
       on who is PvP.

And that is what I want to make clear. If you are outside of a
       protected area, everyone is PVP!
